Ganxiang Pavilion

Muxiang Pavilion is an important attraction in Liuhou Park, located next to Luochi. It is rumored that Liu Zongyuan planted eucalyptus trees here, and there are some texts circulating in the world, namely, the northwest of Liuzhou City. The current Muxiang Pavilion was rebuilt in 1978.

If you only look at the map, or from a distance, you will think it is just a very ordinary pavilion in a park, but it is meaningful. Its name is Musk, a long hexagonal pavilion, which is quite distinctive and has roots in Liu Zongyuan. It is said that he went to Liuzhou and planted a large area of eucalyptus trees in the northwest of the city. The future generations built a musk pavilion next to the pond on the east side of Liuhou Temple to commemorate the Luochi. The current pavilion was rebuilt in the 1970s, referring to the Qianlong period of the system, so that history is well passed down.

Later, the craftsmen in Liuzhou in the Southern Song Dynasty carved his poem into inscriptions.

Muxiang Pavilion is located in the east of Liuhou Park, No. 60 Wenhui Road, Chengzhong District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Although Muxiang Pavilion is a rebuilt township behind, it is an important landscape of Liuhou Park, and its architectural appearance is relatively atmospheric.
