Dingwuling

Dingwuling is located in Changting County (Tingzhou), Fujian Province, the capital of Hakka in the world. The village has high mountains and dense forests, fresh air, winding paths, and picturesque scenery. It still retains the original village form. Yellow mud walls, black and gray tiles, wooden houses and stone steps can be seen everywhere, rough and heavy stone gates, natural and unique old stone slabs, open old ancestral halls, and old ancient wells during the Qianlong period are the accumulation of the history and culture of this village. Among them, Dingwuling Dajing was included in the list of immovable cultural relics in the third national cultural relic census. The original ecological architectural style, beautiful scenery and simple folk customs make people linger and forget to return, which is of great tourism development value. According to legend, Dingwuling is free of mosquitoes all year round because there is a stone toad crouching on the ground by the road outside the village, its mouth facing Dingwuling. Dingwuling was blessed by the toad, and the toad stone was sacrificed at the entrance of the village for generations. On October 1, 2015, it became the Dingwuling Photography Base of Fujian Photographers Association and the photography base of Fujian Changting Memory Photography Club.
