The Muli Temple is the first of the three major temples in Muli. It covers an area of 80,000 square meters. It was once one of the largest Huangjiao Lama temples in Kangba Tibetan area. 木里大寺是四川省重点文物保护单位,位于木里藏族自治县境内桃坝乡你易店村达尼牙布山麓,距西昌市300多公里,距县城约60公里。曾是康巴藏区规模最大的黄教喇嘛寺庙之一,在藏区具有特殊的地位。始建于公元1656年,是继瓦尔寨大寺、康坞大寺后兴建的又一座大寺。由饶迥巴·桑登桑布仿拉萨哲蚌寺的格局奠基并主持修建,历时3年,占地约8万余平方米。藏语全称——木里葛丹喜珠曲勒朗巴吉瓦林。
