Linggu Pagoda

Linggu Tower is located in Linggu Scenic Area, built in 1931, is a eight-sided and nine-story pagoda, built of reinforced concrete and Jinshan granite, the tower is 66 meters high, each floor is covered with green glazed tiles.

This tower has stood for many years, quietly guarding the elite door of the nation. Linggu Tower is designed by Chinese and foreign architectural designers, and the Linggu Tower is a Buddhist pagoda with antique douglas, but it is another clean one when you enter it. The stairs in the tower circle along a stone pillar, the middle hollow, the magic is that the stairs and the stone pillars seem to be integrated, along this spiral staircase can climb to each of the eight nine-story pagoda, each floor has different scenery.

When I was below, I hesitated whether to climb up. Later, I thought I had to go up, so I went up! Breathing, finally climbed up. The scenery is very beautiful! 在南京东郊钟山风景区的灵谷景区内有一座九层宝塔——灵谷塔（南京人以前叫作“九层塔），这座塔原名阵亡将士纪念塔，是阵亡将士公墓的主要建筑之一，这座塔建于上世纪三十年代。该塔高约60米，九层八面，全部用钢筋水泥建筑。塔外绕有走廊。我记得以前来灵谷寺的时候，有机会就要来登此塔。登上宝塔后，可以鸟瞰钟山风景。围绕走廊一周，可以看到不同方向上的风景。

灵谷塔是灵谷景区的一个重要的景点，高60米，共九层，共八面。一层外墙上有蒋介石书写的“精忠报国”四个字，进入里面，有楼梯可以上到第九层，每层都都有回廊可以360度地看钟山及较远处的南京市，上到七、八、九层可以看到附近的中山纪念馆和中山陵的最高建筑，灵谷塔的建筑设计不错，每层的道风性很好，上的过程总感觉有凉风拂面！

小时候第一次知道灵谷塔，妈妈说这是九层塔，楼梯是螺旋式的，很窄但也很稳当，转得挺累的，现在年过半百的人，爬上九层也挺吃力，但是每一层都可以看到不同的风景，尤其上了塔顶往下看塔前的路犹如一个宝剑般的存在，塔身上刻的精忠报国四个大字说是蒋介石的亲笔。
