Tappen Park

In the middle of ?

Tough neighborhood, not a place to hang out especially at night. It was notorious for drug use years ago. Now it’s still bad, keep away especially at night.

Why is this even on here?

I live by there and it would be nice if it isnt constantly filled with emotional disturbed personal, drug addicts and homeless people.

Just a park hangout

I am not sure why NYC Parks and NYC itself keeps trying to refurbish this park. Perhaps if there were park attendants and not just street people hanging out, it would be better.

urban park

This park breaks up the monotony of Stapleton. The trees are nice and they paved the walkways with brick back in the 80's so it has a good look. There isn't much to draw visitors here, however.

I would not call this a park..

This is really just a somewhat fenced off dirty grassy area, with benches. I'm very surprised to see this on trip advisor. The only thing its got going for it is it has free concerts about twice a yea...
