Washington Square Park is located in Manhattan, New York, New York, one of New York City's most prestigious parks, a major landmark of Greenwich Village in Manhattan, and a popular meeting and art venue.
Going to the vicinity of Greenwich Village, I saw this park. It is an accident. Many American movies have taken the scene in this place. The square is not big. The most conspicuous is this arch and fountain. As a public green space, it is still very nice. New York University seems to be also nearby when it is rainy, there are very few people.
Really nice park with some many quirky people. From costume wearing dog walkers to rollerblading street performers. If you fancy yourself as a chess players, you can try to take on one of the masters that hang around there.
In the park next to New York University, there are squirrels that are not afraid of people, and independent performers perform here to enjoy a leisurely time in the bustling New York City.
Washington Square is a particularly interesting place. I read an introduction that once was a New York mass grave. New Yorkers don’t mind that it was once a New York mass grave, and 20,000 bodies still lie quietly beneath the lively square. They didn't come because of the sight, they loved the temperament and represented the wildness of New York. In Washington Square, it was clearly felt different from the rest of New York. All the corners were filled with idle, leisurely people dressed or fashionable or upbeat or leisurely, singing, dancing, playing, sunbathing, walking their dogs, reading books, and sleeping (how can you sleep in the heat?). There were artists, drawing their paintings, singing their songs, beating their drums, and changing their tricks. The grand piano was in the middle of the garden, and the players of extraordinary temperament played Chopin, and people sat around leisurely, without apologizing for applause and tips after each song. This is the most free and unruly temperament in New York. Deep tour of New York is not to be missed.
Washington Square Park squirrels, New York's parks are full of squirrels, no one is afraid of people, if they make a sound, will come to you without any intention, waiting for your feeding, crossing the park path is more like a leisure walk, the park sitting in the people sitting on the pine The house of the mouse...
