Great sculpture
This was definitely my favourite H.C. Andersen sculpture in Odense. It is really interesting with the mirror behind it. The sculpture is made out of bronze.

The story of the stupid, vain king tricked in to believing he is wearing the finest new suit, reassured by all his fawning courtiers and subjects, until a little boy points out the naked truth is one ...
My favorite one
I am glad that I arrived to this statue when it was dark already because illuminated it looks ingenious. It became my favorite statue in Odense.
Emperor
I loved (and still do) this story by HC Anderson. It's located in a beautiful back street in the centre of Odense.
Public art as it should be
Sat in the restaurant opposite this artwork watching children interacting with it. It seems to mean much more to them than the adults and they clamber over all of the individual statues etc.
