Museum in the Pavia castle
There are lots of medieval and Roman remains here. Also a small but woirthwhile collection of paintings. We especially went to look at the peculiar round ceramic dishes which were used as decorations ...
The castle was lovely - Architects would love this place
We had a great museum visit but the artwork was not the highlight. The beautiful castle with porticos was lovely. So many details. I would have loved to see it in its heyday!

Amazing amount of paintings, artifacts and furniture are displayed in 3 levels of vast museum. Definitely worth visiting.

Stilful and open space. A beautiful light to enjoy a walk through the patio. Decorated with pieces of the era .

The department dedicated to romantic architecture and old pinacoteca was particularly enjoyed. Visitors on the weekly summer day were not except for us. Family ticket for 2 adults and 16-year-old cost 10th.
