Como is the most famous lake in northern Italy, a common saying among the locals is: those who have vacationed at Lake Como are the ones who truly understand life. Lake Como is near the Alps, so in addition to the beautiful lake view, there is also a magnificent feeling~. If you come to I sincerely recommend a day trip to Como. It takes an hour by train from Milan, and there are many beautiful small towns scattered around the lake. The scenery is very stunning, many locals come here for the weekend, wearing swimsuits and jumping directly into the blue lake water, super decompression! BEST THINGS TO DO IN LAKE COMO 🇮🇹🍹🍝 The Italian summer is calling and I am sure many of you guys are planning to visit beautiful Lake Como 😍 Lake Como is one of my fav places in Italy and I wanted to share with all of you my top five tips for your next trip to Lake Como: 1. Lunch at @barilmolo_varenna Varenna is the most romantic villages and Bar il Molo is a must and one of the most instagrammable places in Lake Como. Tip: Come early to get your spot (no reservations). Choose between downstairs (opens at 9am) and veranda upstairs (opens at 12 for lunch). 2. Visit Villa Balbianello in Lenno ✨ Villa Balbianello and its garden are just stunning and sooo beautiful. Tip: Take the ferry to Lenno and walk down to the beach to take the water taxi to Villa Balbianello (8 eur bothways) as otherwise you need to walk approx. 30 min. 3. Take a boat tour 🚤 I highly recommend a boat tour to see beautiful Lake Como and its famous villas including the instagrammable Villa La Casinella. Tip: Choose between a private boat tour or a shared boat tour. 4. Explore beautiful Bellagio & Pic in Salita Serbelloni 📸 Bellagio is called the "Pearl of Lake Como" and wandering around the streets is just amazing. Tip: Take a pic at Salita Serbelloni, the most instagrammable street in Bellagio. 5. When you see it with your own eyes, you will find that the real scenery is even more beautiful than the photos. The early autumn at Lake Como is even more serene, with the morning air carrying a coolness, like a Mojito with added ice. I thought I could circle Lake Como just as I did with West Lake, but it turned out that I still lack exercise and could only taste a little of the experience. However, along the way, I still saw the wandering scenery and the fit figures of morning runners, which goes to show that a good physique is the result of self-discipline. Many of the interior decorations here are textbook examples of renovation, with clean lines and lake-view balconies, making it an ideal place to escape from the world.
