Chaoyang Lake Scenic Area

Chaoyang Lake Scenic Spot is composed of Chaoyang Lake, Shixiang Lake, Longtan Lake and Feixian Pavilion. It is an artificial lake with a blend of mountains and rivers, with lakes and mountains as its main scenery. , Erlang Beach Cliff Statue, Buddhist resort Jiuxian Mountain, Taoist resort Taiqing Temple, the former site of Heshan Academy founded by Song Dynasty scholar Wei Liaoweng, as well as Bashu boat coffins and Han tombs during the Warring States Period. There are more than 1,000 species of trees, vines, flowers and grass along the mountains and mountains of Chaoyang Lake. Other attractions are: Tongtian Cave, Lotus Mountain, Mulan Island, Xianhe Mountain, Fengdong Stone, Wild Duck Bay, etc. Feixian Pavilion: According to legend, when a general in the Han Dynasty passed by here, he was fascinated by the beautiful scenery of this place, and later became immortal here, and later generations built Feixian Pavilion to commemorate. Feixian Pavilion is built by mountains and rivers. It consists of arch bridges, mountain gates, Yanyan Pavilion, Lingxu Pavilion, Feixian Lake, Yinggongtai, etc. It is surrounded by Erlang Beach cliff statues, which have high artistic value. Erlang Beach Cliff: Mainly distributed in Feixian Cave and foot of Biyun Peak, Dafoping and Qinxingyan, there are 92 statues and 777 statues. Among them, there are 64 niches with 491 statues in the Tang Dynasty; 17 niches with 256 statues in the Five Dynasties Houshu; 11 niches with 30 statues in the Qing Dynasty. There are 19 inscriptions on the statues, 11 in the Tang Dynasty, 4 in the Later Shu, and 4 in the Qing Dynasty. The statues here are beautiful in shape and of high artistic value, especially the ninth niche is more exquisite. There are 38 statues in the niche, and the flat-top niche is bas-reliefed with trees with dense branches and leaves. The bas-relief music and music under the Buddha seat are beautiful and exquisite. Long Beach Lake: It is 1 km away from Chaoyang Lake. The surrounding peaks are scattered, and the lake is vast. There are scenic spots such as "Golden Turtle Island", "Bixia Bay", "Crouching Tiger Ridge", "Yuping Mountain" and "Hongyan Village" in the lake area. The "lined rock" in the lake area is the remains of the ancient mountain and creek road. The road goes up to the famous mountains and Ya'an, and goes down to Xinjin and Pengshan. There are still 2.5 kilometers of cliff-climbing stone ladders.
