Joshua Tree National Park

Good for a day trip. we spent ~3 hours inside. it was a little over one hour drive from Palm Springs.

Very big park Drive in for several hours or for several days to complete the trip There are many zones. But we choose to go to a simple and interesting walk.

Joshua Tree National Park is located in southern California. It became a national historical memorial area in 1936. In 1994, the United States Congress passed the California Desert Protection Act (Public Law 103-433), which was officially established. The Joshua tree is actually a large silk orchid. The name of the Joshua tree was taken by Mormon pioneers because its branches stretched upwards and looked like a "praying tree" from February to April.

A park with strange rocks and Joshua Trees. The land is desert. The area is very vast. One day trip will not be finished.

This national park is a relatively new attraction, relatively cold. Located in Palm Springs east of Los Angeles. It covers a large area, but most of the park is desert. We entered from the park's northeast gate and then exited from the west gate, which was about to open the area of 1/5. The most important stone in the park except for the desert is the stone. It is said that these stones were sunk under the sea many years ago, and they only appear as they are now due to crustal motion. With these stone mountains, it is also a paradise for rock climbing enthusiasts, and almost every stone mountain is a brave rock climbing athlete. We have annual tickets for the national park, so we don't know how much the park tickets are, but it should not be expensive. Joshua Tree is a tree in this park, but we don't know which tree it is.

The signboard Joshua Tree commemorates the time when the deserters were dying in the desert. It was seen that the tree still survived in bad conditions all year round, and the tree was shaped like the biblical leader Joshua beckoning to the victor.
