This is the location of a magnificent small military cemetery, which is connected to the civilian cemetery in the town. Located on a peaceful hillside shaded by green trees, 218 young French sailors and soldiers, 206 young British soldiers, 28 young British, Polish, and New Zealand pilots, and even a South African pilot, are resting there.

So sad
Such a lovely place, it a shame it holds such bad experiences, very moving looking at the ages of the boys on the headstones. What a waste of lives.
