A historic temple on a hill on the banks of the YOSHII River
Original Text
9 I stopped by when I visited Saidaiji Temple on the opposite bank in mid-Medium. It is located up a hill from the Yoshii River. If you park your car in the parking lot and enter the precincts, you will find the main hall of important cultural properties. Next to it is a magnificent three-storied pagoda built in the late Edo period and a Yakushido in the back. As it is a flower temple, the cherry blossoms in spring, the lotus in summer, and the autumn leaves in autumn seem to be beautiful. Also. Right next door is Toyohara Kitajima Shrine, a remnant of the Shinto and Buddhist assembly.
It takes about 20-25 minutes on foot from Otomi Station on the Ako Line, including mountain roads. Even if you visit on holidays, the figures are sparse. In the precincts, Yakushido, which has a three-storied pagoda and a national treasure Bodhisattva, has other temples kept in order and clean, and you can see the Okayama Plain ~ downstream of the Yoshii River below.
It was the best and largest temple of the temples and shrines I visited this time.

There were no samurai like destroyers in Shikoku, so it was a temple with decent cultural properties and many temple towers. It was the largest and best temple in Okayama Prefecture, which boasts a long-term auspiciousness that Hoon Daishi has been handed down as the founder of the temple. The name of the temple seems to have changed to the original Nichirenji Temple → Honkakuji → Jojiyama Yukeiji Temple. There is no material about when it was renamed the current temple name. This is a temple with a temple structure called "Ichiyama Ichiji Tain system". Toyohara Kitajima Shrine is also ...
About 15 minutes by car from Saidaiji Temple. It is a temple of the Tendai sect, the second Kannon pilgrimage site in China. It is a very large temple with a main hall, Yakushido, and three-storied pagodas lined up in the precincts, and many branch temples. The main hall is Kannon-do. It enshrines Kannon facing east. There is a guide tape in the main hall and Yakushido.
Why are there many magnificent temples in Okayama? I was surprised to visit this temple as well. Not only the main temple but also many branch temples are developed. The shrine is also near the main hall, and it responds to the thoughts of good men and good women by syncretization of Shinto and Buddhism. There are many flowers such as cherry blossoms planted on the approach, and it is named as the temple of Sanyo flower as a famous place for cherry blossoms, lotus and water lily.
