The Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall records the ups and downs, magnificent and long-lasting legend of the Shenyang Railway from the construction of the railway inside and outside the customs in 1891 to the present in a panoramic and three-dimensional form. The Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall is the largest railway industry museum in Northeast China. The exhibition records the development process of the Shenyang Railway in different historical periods in detail, and focuses on displaying the historical trajectory of the development of the Shenyang Railway. It strives to use rich and detailed historical materials and updated equipment to show the important position of China's railways in economic and social development and the fruitful results of railway development. The historical materials and pictures exhibition area of the Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall tells the past and present of the Shenyang Railway in the form of real objects, scene restoration, film and television broadcasting, and takes you to recall the bumpy development process. The equipment exhibition area is divided into two parts: the locomotive exhibition area and the vehicle exhibition area. Here, you can touch the locomotives and vehicles that have been sealed for a hundred years, listen to the little-known anecdotes of celebrities, and in the industrial environment, it is like being in the long river of historical memory. In the collision of history and reality, appreciate the profound railway culture. In the locomotive exhibition area, many steam locomotives are displayed, taking you to enjoy the century-old railway industrial civilization and touch the vicissitudes of modern railways. The museum exhibits locomotive equipment from different periods of railways, such as the steam locomotive made in the United States in 1907, the "Forest Train" made in Germany in 1914, the "Asia" traction locomotive made in Japan in 1934, and the forward-type steam locomotive made in China in 1956, quietly for visitors to recall the difficult and turbulent years of the rise of China's railways. In the vehicle exhibition area, there are 24 vehicles of various models manufactured by Tsarist Russia, the United States, China and other countries. There are C20 open wagons made in Russia as early as 1900, as well as modern 80-ton C80B open wagons made in China, EX-type maintenance wagons from 1933 left over from the "Manchurian Railway", and Harmony EMUs with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The representatives of heavy-load railway freight transportation and passenger transportation "Chinese speed" can all be seen here. The exhibition hall also has a dynamic locomotive experience exhibition area, steam locomotive and diesel locomotive operating room display locomotives, and the restoration of the old platform canopy scene during the "Manchurian Railway" period, which can be used for visitors to reminisce and take pictures. It is a good film and television shooting base and a place for tourists to take pictures. Shenyang Railway Exhibition Hall, with its modern Chinese industrial heritage and rich collections, has become a city business card with cultural charm and a spiritual home for finding memories.
Those who are interested in visiting here will definitely feel good, but unfortunately some areas have not been opened. There are not many people in the museum, if you know the history of this area, you can watch it slowly. Of course, even if you walk around and watch the flowers, it is very shocking.
Located in Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, the exhibition hall supervisor has a total of railway equipment exhibition, historical materials photo exhibition, transportation capacity exhibition three parts, rich physical exhibits, display more than 800 pieces of various equipment, more than 1,500 pictures, 68 locomotives and vehicles.
Very interesting museum, the only one in the country, it is worth going, full of eyes. From the earliest train in the early 19th century to the Harmony in the early 20th century, the history of railway development has been concentrated into an exhibition hall, which not only reflects the history of railway industry development, but also has good educational significance.
