    Former bansho

    Original Text

It is located on a slope from the port of Hateruma Island to a place where the village is located. It's high on the island, so you can see Iriomote Island when the weather is nice. As a ruins, I felt that the atmosphere of the time was left.

And when I went up, I could see the whole island.

    Original Text

As introduced as the fire guard during the old feudal period, it seemed to have been used to look around. There was an island that was prohibited from entering even though it was in a similar place, but the ones on Hateruma Island could go up and overlook the area.

Old Yong era の Huofansuo の trace!

    Original Text

I went up to the izakaya and stopped by for free time after lunch. The stone monument says a monument and a coat mori. It refers to the place where a beacon was lit for monitoring the sea and reporting ships at the so-called fire guard during the Old Domain era. 5 It will be a stand stacked with stones of about meter, but when you go up, you can see it far away.

"Old Yongera の Huofansuo, offshore の monitoring や ship の notification のため quenching を Yang げた"

    Original Text

It was an observatory with a conspicuous stone wall. I was able to go up on the stone steps, and when I went up immediately, I could see the whole island. There is an explanation board under the stone steps, which is said to be "Fire Banmori", and it is written that "Fire Bansho in the former feudal period, a bellows were fried for monitoring the sea and reporting ships", and the origin is well understood.

    Starry Sky Observation

    Original Text

In September 2020, I stayed at the Hateruma Naishi Village. At night, when I was looking for a good place near the village and without light by observing the starry sky, there was a coat. At night, it is pitch black and depends on the light of a flashlight or smartphone. The upper part is flat and it is good to have a leisure seat. Looking directly above, it is a starry sky. The photo was taken with a smartphone self-timer.
