During the Tubu Chire Bajin period, Tibetan troops stationed at the edge of the place, and built a small temple. The successors called it "Magong Niangwa", which was a Sakya monastery. In the Ming Dynasty, the first summer warehouse of Danjiacuo, the master of the East Kodo Jijiacuo, once expanded it and converted to Gelu. In the mid-17th century, the disciple of Jidan Jiacuo, Zhige Zhi Ruba, moved to Maoqi Temple (the temple has long ceased to exist, and the site is rumored to be in the lower part of Wutun Pashan), merged with Magong Niangwa, forming the later Wutun Xia Temple. Since then, the temple has been repaired or rebuilt three times. Now is one of the representative monasteries of Regong Art, the value of art viewing is extremely high!!
