A small museum that’s chock-a-block with details
Our last stop in the Shonai area before travelling into the Mogami area, we managed to squeeze 30 mins out of our tight schedule to visit this interesting museum cum brewery where their sake was still...
I was able to visit at a really good time. The museum is in a state of monopoly. The most impressive thing was the old documents inherited from the ancestors of the Watari family. There was a colored paper "Sake is Kokusake" presented by successive Prime Ministers. Everyone is really handwritten or too good. And of course, in the brewery, the employees were working hard to brew sake.
It was introduced in a book called Pashu Port, so I came according to the CarPlay navigation on the iPhone to stop by on the way from Niigata to Suiden Terrace. When the road becomes narrower as you approach your destination, a large line continues to the end of the road. I was surprised at what kind of charm the facility we are trying to go to. When I asked the security guard who was organizing the traffic to ask the location of the parking lot, I parked the car for the time being and asked if I could visit it, this area ...
It is a sake brewery along the Oyama Kaido. There were some old buildings and it was difficult to know where the entrance was, but it was behind the COOP. It was the first day of the consecutive holidays, but there were few visitors and I was able to take a calm tour.
A museum related to sake brewing at the Tokai main store, a sake brewery famous for "Dewa no Yuki". There is an admission fee of 100 yen, but you can spend a blissful time that sake lovers can't bear. I wanted to resent myself who came by car.

I was surprised at the large procession.
