It is said that it came to be called "Kagamiike" because many bronze mirrors are buried.

    Original Text

There are many shrines on the top of Mt. Haguro. At the center was the Sanjinaisaiden, and there was a mirror pond in front of it. Kagamiike is an oval pond, and when it is built on the other side of the pond, the Kagamiike and the Sanjinaiden in the back are nicely photographed. This pond is the Mitarai Pond of the main shrine. Since it is a sacred pond, it seems that the bronze mirror dedicated by many people 々 has been buried since ancient times, and that is the origin of the name "Kagamiike".

Shooting point of the Sanjin kaisaiden

    Original Text

It will be in front of the Sanjin Gosaiden on the top of Mt. Haguro. There used to be a bridge, but it seems that it was removed. You can only take a panoramic view of the Sanjin Gosaiden from the other side across this pond. Multiple people were waiting in line to take pictures.

Sacred Mitarai Pond of dewa Sanzan Jinja shrine Sanjin AIJI dono

    Original Text

It is a Mitarai pond in front of Dewa Sanzan Shrine and Sanjin Gosaiden on the top of Mt. Haguro. It seems that he has gathered faith as a sacred pond with almost no water level throughout the year. There is a pond right in front of the Sanjinaisen, so it is difficult to capture the whole picture of the Sanjinaisen in the camera unless you go through the Kagamiike.
