Durdle Door, also known as "Durdle Elephant Trunk Hill", is part of the Jurassic Coast of Lulworth Bay and is also a famous attraction in the bay. This massive Portland limestone arch is 150 million years old, formed by intense crustal action and erosion. Near the stone arch is the sparkling beach, walk down the steps to the sea and stroll the beautiful coastline. Many tourists come here for vacation in summer, but there are few shaded places on the beach, try to avoid midday and pay attention to sun protection.
