Great Walk Before Lunch

Excellent 1/2 mile paved trail, some by river. Well kept. Great wood carvings on the paths. Other trails off the main loop. Clean restrooms.

Hidden gem of the high Country

Best park in the mountains. The scenery is amazing. The Watauga River flows along the park allowing visitors to wade or fly fish. If you are in the Boone area this place is a must.

Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful This is a must visit while you are in the area. The walking path was awesome. The benches all over the park were placed in the perfect spits.

Perfection.

This park. AMAZING. We are so grateful for this park. It is perfect. Kids can play on the playground, in the river, in the open areas. The tree carvings are the cherry on top. It’s just perfect.
