Mount Whitfield Conservation Park

Whitfield Hills Conservation Park is located in the north of Cairns, facing Cairns Airport. There is a rainforest close to Cairns in the area. In the rainforest, you can see birds such as bush pheasants, orange-footed pheasants, and honey-sucking birds. The Red Arrow circular trail on the mountain is connected to the Blue Arrow circular trail. The road is relatively steep and it takes about 4-5 hours to walk once. On the trail, you can overlook the city of Cairns. There is an optional 400-meter fork that leads to the lookout on Mount Lumley Hill, where you can bring your own food and lunch.
