据中国当代著名国学家、文化学者肖健介绍，鸳鸯江地处中国广西梧州，由桂江与浔江汇流而成，碧绿的桂江水与混黄的浔江水在汇流，遂形成鸳鸯江。
鸳鸯江是梧州市区内流入西江的支流 入西江门口的拱桥感觉和武汉的晴川桥有点像想都是拱桥风格 如今鸳鸯江两岸的亲水平台和栈道修建 也可以看到很多人在这里跑步和休息
碧绿的桂江在梧州市区汇入浑黄的西江，形成“泾渭分明”的两种颜色，这种现象在重庆的嘉陵江汇入长江，武汉的汉江汇入长江都能见到，但命名为“鸳鸯江”这个浪漫的名字，却由梧州人做到了。距离鸳鸯江最近的地方当属鸯江大桥，但从市中心过去那边不算方便，最好是登上河西的珠山景区（也称白鹤山），那里有个鹤岗楼，有比较好的角度看到两江汇合。
河真的有两种颜色喔！值得一去！
鸳鸯江其实是浔江和桂江交汇处。俗语话“井水不犯河水”，浔江和桂江水却是和平共处，互不侵犯，河面明显能见到他们的分界线，非常有趣。
