Yixing National Forest Park

Yixing National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Yixing City, at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, with a total area of 3,400 hectares. The mountain system belongs to the remnants of Tianmu Mountain. The main peak, Tongguan Mountain, is 521 meters above sea level, which is the second highest peak in southern Jiangsu. The mountains are ups and downs, the ravines are vertical and horizontal, and the streams are gurgling. Due to the influence of the subtropical climate and strengthened protection, the forest coverage rate reaches 92%, and the wildlife resources are very rich. Yixing City Forest Farm (Yixing National Forest Park) is nearly 15Km away from Yixing City. It was founded in March 1950. The total area of the whole site is 3273 hectares, of which the forest area is 3191 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 97%. The forest is dense and rich in vegetation, with 164 families and 491 genera. It belongs to the zonal vegetation on the northern edge of the central subtropical zone. There are 398.47 hectares of foreign pine, 350.42 hectares of Chinese fir, 210.68 hectares of black pine, 1016.43 hectares of masson pine, 31.93 hectares of oak, and 671.55 hectares of bamboo. , Light miscellaneous bamboo 18.13 hectares, miscellaneous wide 219.89 hectares, other 225.58 hectares. There are more than 200 species of wild animals. In 1992, the National Forest Park was established with the consent of the Ministry of Forestry. There are Jiangsu provincial Xiaoheigou, Longchi Nature Reserve, Jiangsu pumped storage power station and many historical and cultural landscapes in the park. The tourism resources are very rich, and the investment conditions and environment are excellent.
