Wuliangtai Attraction is a national AAA-level tourist Attraction. It is located at the junction of Erlang Village and Chongling Village in Wudian Town, the hometown of Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu. It is adjacent to the north bank of Gunhe River in the south and Zaoyang City in the north. It is a national 3A-level tourist Attraction with a total area of about 180,000 square meters and a construction area of about 60,000 square meters. Wuliangtai was first built in the Eastern Han Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty. Later generations built it here to commemorate the merits of Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu. The hall is built from the base to the top, without beams or columns, with brick and stone arches, flying eaves and curved walls. The style is unique and breathtaking. The cultural relics are of great value. In 1956, it was listed as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Hubei Province. Wuliangtai Attraction is an ancient cultural holy land where Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism coexist and prosper. Here, the excellent traditional culture is very rich. There is not only Taoist culture represented by Zhenwu and Laojun, but also Buddhist culture represented by Guanyin and Maitreya, and the Confucian culture of the Eastern Han Dynasty with unique local characteristics represented by Liu Xiu and Guan Gong. Baishuihuang Village, the hometown of Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu, is just across the distance from the Wuliangtai Attraction, but is very close. The Wuliangtai in the Attraction is exactly the platform for commanding generals and the platform for offering sacrifices to the sky when Liu Xiu started his army in Chongling. It can be said that the establishment of Eastern Han culture started here. At the same time, it was the observatory where the great Yuan Dynasty astronomer Guo Shoujing came to Zaoyang from Songshan Mountain in Henan to observe celestial phenomena. Therefore, it is also known as a "double cultural relic" in the provincial cultural relic circle. Since the restoration and reconstruction of the Attraction, 18 architectural attractions and temples have been restored and rebuilt on the original site, mainly including the Imperial Garden, Wuliangtai, Guan Gong Hall, Guangwu Hall, Zushi Hall, Guanyin Hall, God of Wealth Hall, Laojun Hall, Niangniang Hall, Tudi Temple, Holy Land Gate Tower, Yuxiang Restaurant, Yuhu Fairy Island Water Recreation Center, Chongling Garden and Visitor Reception Center, Tourism Product Exhibition and Sales Center, Large Ecological Leisure Square Parking Lot, Three-star Tourism Public Toilets and other supporting facilities are all complete. It is a good place to taste Hanwu culture, pray for Guangwu Saintly Virtue, and enjoy thousands of flowers. The pool of water in Yuhu Fairy Island was built by later generations to commemorate Liu Xiu, the Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, one of the ten great historical monarchs of Zaoyang. The lake surface is about 30,000 square meters. There is a small island in the lake. There is a pavilion on the island and flowers and plants are planted around it. At that time, Liu led his troops to revolt, overthrew Wang Mang, seized the world, and later ascended the throne to become emperor. After becoming an emperor, he never forgot his hometown where he was born and raised. He traveled thousands of miles and took the trouble to return to his hometown Chongling five times to visit his hometown and his fellow villagers. Moreover, every time he returned to his hometown, he would go deep into the fields, visit the fields and huts, the temples, the villagers, and ask about their well-being. He also introduced preferential policies for his hometown to repay the kindness of his hometown for raising him. The Chongling Garden Square and the nearby Yuhu Fairy Island are both memorial facilities built to commemorate Liu Xiu, the ancestor of the Han Dynasty in Zaoyang. The square covers an area of about 50,000 square meters, with pavilions, wells, rockery, fountains, and cultural landscape walls. The trees, flowers, and grass are covered with green shade and arranged in an orderly manner. In those days, Liu Xiu and his brother Liu Yan rose up to overthrow Wang Mang's tyranny, save the people from the heat, and restore the Han Dynasty. They led 8,000 children from their hometown Chongling and launched the Chongling Peasant Uprising. The rebels smashed the government, defeated the Mang army, attacked the city and captured the stronghold, fought bloody battles, and succeeded each other. With a crushing momentum, they eliminated the Wang regime, eliminated the separatist forces, established a unified world, and realized the Guangwu Restoration. In order to commemorate Liu Xiu's great historical feat, later generations built this park in the place where he trained his troops in the uprising, and named it "Chongling Park" for tourists to reminisce and relax. Scenic Avenue Wuliangtai Scenic Avenue is 2 kilometers long and built according to the national second-level standard. It adopts two-way four-lane and is the main road connecting the Wudian entrance and exit of Hanshifuyin Expressway with the Attraction. A marble stone archway stands tall at the entrance of the scenic avenue, leaving a striking and deep impression on passing tourists.
The park is more beautiful than before, with a lot of expansion and more green plants, especially the willow trees by the lake grow very well. There are stove Wang Ye, Ma Wang Ye, Dragon Wang Ye, Erlang God, Guan Gong. If you have time to do some homework in advance, you will come to see it. It will be more interesting and you can tell it to the children.
Perhaps this place, indeed as the artistic conception of the name is in it, is infinitely large, and the scenery is infinitely expanded. And the harmonious environment, aka the characteristics of the scenery, is a wonderful place.
The attractions very close to the city, the day I went there was just fifteen, so I avoided the tickets, it was great! There are many small attractions inside, more casual, play is OK, more spacious, the only downside is that when I go, it is still under construction outside.
Very good, the scenery is good
