Hazard Point is a famous landmark here! Located at the southern end of the Gold Coast, it is the junction of Queensland and NSW. When Captain Cook logged on to the Australian mainland for the second time, in order to avoid the reef, the captain ordered a sharp turn of nearly 90 degrees to avoid the wreck, so the dangerous angle was named.

The Hazard Point is located on the southern tip of the Gold Coast, the junction between Queensland and NSW. Captain Cook came here for the second time on the Australian mainland, named after two ships that were damaged by too many reefs. A nearly 90-degree sharp turn was ordered to avoid the wrecking crisis when sailing through the reef, so there is the name of the dangerous horn. It is a beautiful place on the border between the Gold Coast City and Sydney.
