Our daily lives are too fast-paced, with hurried steps and restless minds. We are busy chasing time and rushing forward, rarely willing to slow down and appreciate the beauty of time flowing slowly by, missing countless moments of poetry and gentleness hidden in silence. This time, I strolled through the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou. In the elegant and tranquil beauty of this Jiangnan garden, I found peace of mind and a quiet understanding of the passage of time. As a model of Jiangnan gardens, the Humble Administrator's Garden boasts exquisite landscaping and an elegant layout. Pavilions and terraces are nestled against the mountains and beside the water, winding corridors are shaded by flowers and trees, and a pool of clear water runs through the entire garden. The artificial mountains and rocks are exquisitely crafted, and flowers and trees bloom in succession throughout the four seasons. Every step reveals a new scene, a constantly changing vista, exuding the refined charm of the East. Far from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, the garden is serene and tranquil, full of ancient charm. The babbling brooks and birdsong, the light and shadow filtering through the branches and leaves, create a gentle and peaceful atmosphere, where time seems to stand still. I abandoned all my hurried pace, strolling leisurely through the garden, sitting quietly in the waterside pavilion listening to the wind and watching the water flow, idly admiring the flowers, trees, rocks, and the charm of ancient architecture. Far from worldly distractions, I enjoyed a tranquil haven. There was no anxiety of checking off tourist attractions, no fatigue from rushing, only relaxation and a clear mind. Before, I was determined to travel to faraway, bustling places; now I realize that quiet joy is far more precious. In the serene beauty of the garden, I found inner peace, calmed my restlessness, learned to slow down, to live with a tranquil heart, to accept the ordinariness of life, and to cherish the beauty of the present moment—this was the most precious insight and practice of this journey.

新年好去處2026
Wandering through mountains and seas, heading to distant lands, the most healing experience is never the stunning earthly landscapes, but rather standing alone in the dead of night, embracing the boundless dark sky through a telescope. Everyday life.
