LLenks: Great location for the various clubs Ibiza has to offer - Pacha within walking distance, other clubs a quick taxi ride away. Close to a taxi rank too (a few min walk) It’s an older hotel but clean. Nice rooftop pool and restaurant, but service could be better. One of the more affordable hotels in Ibiza.

GGuest User: Location is excellent with views of the bay, water taxi moor and bus stop very close by. Also a selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Check in was good but reception could really do with an additional member of staff as sometimes you have to wait quite a while. The token system for drinks screams a cost cutting measure to save on staffing levels in the bar as tables and the outdoor bar area could do with much more regular cleaning and waiting at the bar seemed excessive. Drinks and food quality from the restaurant were very good however. Room was very comfortable even if my room was placed next to the road, which got noise from the bin men in the early morning. The bathroom however is in desperate need of refurbishment and the lift is very small. Courtesy shower facilities in the second building was great with having a late flight home and majority of staff were very friendly, with the exception of one of the men on reception but you can’t always win.

GGuest User: Excellent location, very central and practical for getting around the city. However, there were some disappointing aspects: they didn't have parking, even though the hotel information stated they did, and the room wasn't as I imagined, as it claimed to have a view but didn't really meet expectations. Additionally, you can hear a lot of noise from other rooms, which can affect your rest. Nevertheless, I especially want to highlight Mr. Adrián's service at breakfast, he was very friendly and attentive at all times.

GGuest User: Very comfortable bed and 10/10 pillows. Spectacular sea views, but it is not 500m from the centre, rather double that and there are also 121 stairs. Breakfast is €15 at the hotel. The jacuzzi is small and shared. The staff is very friendly except for the morning receptionists.

Hidden deep in the Mediterranean, Menorca Island is the most low-key presence among Spain's Balearic Islands. It lacks the hustle and bustle of Mallorca and the glitz of Ibiza, preserving the most original Mediterranean vibe. Crystal-clear waters, undisturbed secret coves, millennia-old prehistoric megalithic sites, even the breeze carries a lazy feeling. Once you visit, you'll keep this niche romance to yourself. ✨ Highlights · 🌊 Cala Macarella Twin Bays: The beauty crown of Menorca Island. Crescent-shaped white sandy beaches nestled between pine cliffs, the sea water gradually shifts to turquoise, clear water and fine sand, few people and quiet scenery, like stepping into a paradise. · 🪨 Prehistoric Megalithic Sites: A World Cultural Heritage site with nearly 1,600 prehistoric locations. Ancient T-shaped stone altars and boat-shaped tombs stand silently for thousands of years, older than Roman history. Every snapshot is a mysterious masterpiece. · 🏘️ Ciutadella Old Town: The former island capital, honey-colored stone walls paired with carved window frames, winding alleys hiding medieval charm. The harbor at dusk is bathed in golden light, peaceful and healing. · 🚶 Knights’ Island Trail: A 185-kilometer coastal path that was once an ancient defense route. It connects cliffs, beaches, and wilderness along the way. Whether hiking or cycling, you can fully immerse yourself in the island’s wildness and gentleness. · ⛰️ Monte Toro Panorama: The highest point on the island, from the summit you can overlook both seas. The mountaintop monastery and Christ statue stand quietly, under clear skies you can take in the entire island’s blue-green landscape. 📝 Travel Tips · 📍 Location: Menorca Island, Balearic Islands, Spain, western Mediterranean. · ⏰ Best Time to Visit: May-June and September-October (less crowded off-peak), July-August has the warmest sea but more tourists. · 🎫 Tickets: Most beaches are free, prehistoric sites cost about 5-10 euros, some require reservations. · 🚌 Transportation: Take a ferry from Barcelona or Mallorca; renting a car on the island is recommended (book in advance), or use buses to travel between main villages. · 👗 What to Wear: Long dresses, straw hats, light colors for photos; bring non-slip shoes suitable for trails and rocky beaches. · 🗺️ Itinerary: Easy 3-day plan — Day 1: Ciutadella Old Town + Cala Macarella; Day 2: Prehistoric Sites + Mahón Harbor; Day 3: Monte Toro + Knights’ Trail hike.

🇪🇸The Truth About Traveling in Spain | Different Budgets, Same Intense Sun Some people land in Madrid and immediately head to a private winery, while others rush to catch the early morning high-speed train with backpacks. Spain doesn't ask how you got here, it only asks if you dare to slow down. 💎The Rich Version: Buy Back Time Madrid: Guided tour of the Prado Museum after closing time, slowly appreciating Goya and Velázquez. Private boat ride in Retiro Park, drifting on the water until sunset. Barcelona: VIP early morning show at the Sagrada Familia, rooftop view of Gaudí's curves from Casa Milà. Private sailing, Mediterranean breeze blowing directly into your wine glass. Andalusia: Sherry tasting at a Jerez winery, horse-drawn carriage ride through the old town of Seville. Alhambra Palace at night, the Nasrid Palace under the lights is like a dream. Island: Yachting in Mallorca, private kitchen at sunset in Ibiza, just enjoying a light buzz in the evening. 🎒For the average person: Slow down Madrid: Enter the Prado Museum during free hours, watch "Guernica" with Queen Sofia. Sunbathe in Plaza Mayor, eat tapas at San Miguel Market. Barcelona: Buy tickets for the Sagrada Familia online, see the mosaic lizards in Park Güell. Enjoy fresh juice at Boqueria Market, walk to the seaside on La Rambla. Seville: Royal Palace, Cathedral, Plaza de España. Find a small bar in the evening to watch flamenco, get goosebumps at the sound of the guitar. Granada: Book tickets for the Alhambra in advance, watch the sunset in the Albaicín district. Córdoba Mosque, Ronda cliff town, add if time allows. 🚞Itinerary Suggestion 8 days for the average person: 2 days in Madrid, 3 days by high-speed train to Barcelona, 2 days by flight to Seville, 1 day by bus to Granada. A 10-Day Trip for the Rich: Madrid—Barcelona—Andalusia—Mallica or Ibiza. Buy high-speed rail tickets between cities in advance; the earlier, the cheaper. Andalusia is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace; don't overload your schedule. 🍤Food Highlights Paella, tapas, Iberian ham. Churros with hot chocolate, sangria with the evening breeze. Basque pintxos—bite-sized, best enjoyed standing up in the market. Thinly sliced ham with bread and olives—simple yet addictive. ⚠️Travel Tips Apply for your Schengen visa in advance; have your flight and hotel bookings ready. Watch your bags in crowded places, especially the metro and La Rambla. Many small shops close for lunch breaks; dinner usually starts to get lively after 9 pm. Don't dress too revealingly for churches; reservations for the Sagrada Familia and Alhambra must be made in advance. Train tickets and attraction tickets are best booked early; queuing on-site is incredibly tedious. Sunset in Spain doesn't require checking your bank balance. Some people take yachts, some take high-speed trains. But when flamenco starts playing, your heart beats just as heavily. Your budget determines how you relax, your pace determines what you remember. Go soak up the Andalusian sun! 🌞
