Food was delicious, particularly the chorizo prawns. Very expensive for shepherd&#39;s pie, it was yummy though.Wine overpriced.

The meat is absolutely exceptional! Very friendly service. We were celebrating our son&#39;s graduation and had a memorable evening in this classy restaurant.

Had a lovely lunch with family, we asked to sit in a quieter area hence we&#39;re away from view of staff in a raised area - despite us being out of view the staff were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely eat at Fire Lake again

We didn&#39;t have food on this occasion but we have had it in the past and it was good. Drinks are also nice, I&#39;d recommend the chai latte . I think you really come here for the atmosphere and the cats and it delivers on that. The staff are great too, really quick service and will happily talk to you about the cats. Would recommend!

I gave the food quality a low score because it was not hot when it arrived and so my companion had almost finished their meal by the time I got my meal -not convinced it hadn&#39;t just been warmed up rather than a new dish - everything else was excellent

The food and restaurant was good but we were really disappointed when they brought our main course when we had just finished the starter, they had not even removed the first course plates, we like to have a gap between the courses, this spoiled the meal for us.

Ordered a pork dinner and a beef dinner. What came was lovely but then we saw other dinners being brought out with much more veg and other parts of the meal (stuffing and crackling off the pork dinner) were missing. Desserts: ordered the trio of which was nice but the cinnamon sponge was not a sponge - more like a cinnamon bun. Quite disappointing.

Be aware, I invited my friend for lunch and booked the lunch/ early evening menu but was informed on arrival it was a bank holiday and not available. I assume it was the maitre&rsquo;d who told me there was no record on their system of my booking that menu. He said if I could find the confirmation he would see what could be arranged. I found this very embarrassing as I had made the invitation to my friend. I finally found the confirmation email and the menu was honoured. If booking on a bank holiday, be aware.

Potatoes were not done and quality of chicken meal below expactation.Rating in Tripadvisor define this restaurant as the best in town.On the other hand staff was profesional and we need not pay for the meal we claimed.
