Guangzhou Second Children's Palace adopts the design plan of the "Exploring Palace" of the internationally renowned design group, and the overall building gives people a sense of penetration and brightness from the inside out. The facade and roof can be used as a screen for festival and event theme projection. The exterior image is composed of arc 6 layers and square 7 layers from south to north, and an oval glass tower in the middle is inserted through the 7 layers, connecting the two shapes from north to south, and the whole building is like a lying letter "Ｋ".

The built city's second juvenile palace covers an area of 16530 square meters, with a total construction area of 4,6008 square meters. The first floor of the south arc building is treated with overhead open space, and the entrance hall and the front hall of the performing arts center are implanted in it. The second to sixth floors are theater buildings and their attached rooms. The main building in the north is designed as a growth coaching and service center, office, exhibition hall, etc. The second to sixth floors are designed as foreign language, computer, art, calligraphy, chorus, musical instruments and dance classrooms. The seventh floor is the international exchange hall and musical instrument rehearsal hall, with a total of more than 140 classrooms. It can accommodate 20,000 people and train more than 50,000 students a year, which will greatly ease the tension of the city's juvenile palace, which has long plagued Guangzhou teenagers.

The Second Children's Palace of Guangzhou is located in the south section of the Pearl River New Town Section, south of Huanan Road and east of Zhujiang Avenue in the center of Guangzhou New City. The planned plot area is 16570.13 square meters. The main construction functions and project settings include art, technology, growth coaching, international exchanges, and other public facilities such as parking lots. The total construction area of the proposed project is about 45,917 square meters (including overhead floors and basements), and the total estimated investment of the project is about RMB million.

Guangzhou Second Children's Palace is the earliest built of the four major cultural buildings of Huacheng Square. The exterior design has a modern feel, and the glass exterior wall is different from the traditional Children's Palace, especially the entrance pyramid design.
