Wuzhong

Wuzhong City is located in the central region of Ningxia Province, along the eastern bank of the Yellow River. The city is home to one of the largest concentrations of Hui people in China. Wuzhong has a long history. The area is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. It also contains important elements of Hetao culture. You can see uniquely-styled mosques throughout the area. Hence, Wuzhong has become known as the “city of a thousand minarets.” Tourist attractions such as Yellow River Tower, Jinsha Bay, and the Tongxin Great Mosque are a fusion of historical, cultural, and natural scenery and constitute some of the unique landscapes in western China.
