📍Qinglongxia Scenic Area I went to Qinglongxia with friends for a self-driving trip from Zhengzhou over the weekend! Everywhere was picturesque, stepping into the summer of nature! We set off around ten in the morning, had lunch at the foot of the mountain before going up, and arrived around noon——at the Qinglongxia parking lot. There's little walking involved, with many activities to enjoy! The river water is ice-cold! Highly recommended!!!! . ⚠️: Essential preparations before you go: ID card, student ID, sun protection clothing (it's not hot, very cool but some places are sunny), sandals or slippers!!! Must bring! 1️⃣ Ticket purchase: Right in front of the parking lot is the ticket hall, I personally think it's a must to buy a through ticket online (cable car + entrance ticket + bus ticket), which is very cost-effective, much cheaper than buying separately. 2️⃣ Take the bus: Inside the hall, check your ticket and take the bus without waiting, the kind that leaves as soon as you board!!! The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and it will take you up the mountain to the scenic spot. 3️⃣ Water play preparation: Right after getting off the bus, you can buy fishing nets and water guns! Each costs five yuan, and the water in the scenic area is carried up the mountain by people, so the price is high, five yuan per bucket. If you can't accept it, you can bring your own. 4️⃣ High-altitude cable car: Those who have bought cable car tickets can follow the crowd, directly experiencing the super high and advanced cable car. The accompanying personnel can freely arrange to choose a cabin together! I have to say that the cable car here is the safest I have ever ridden! But it's still thrilling! Because the bottom of the cable car is transparent haha! It's like a moving glass walkway. (Everyone in the group loved it) 5️⃣ Play, play, play: After getting off the cable car, you'll be amazed! Mountains and waters everywhere! Butterflies! Wild animals! Little fish!!!!!!! Walking into nature! Scenery everywhere!! Waterfalls and rivers are all over the place! Walking back and forth, you'll probably take at most ten thousand steps, enjoying the view while encountering different landscapes and structures in the scenic area, the experience is very, very great!!! A friend even saw a little wild leopard. Qinglongxia is not crowded at all! Compared to Yuntai Mountain, with the bonus of fewer people, I personally feel it's particularly quiet and a big plus! The star attractions of Qinglong Gorge are undoubtedly the Qinglong Pool and Qinglong Waterfall. The waterfall plunges from the cliffs, creating a deep and azure pool that shimmers under the sunlight. The rare blue hue of the water is astonishing. Visitors can walk behind the waterfall, take photos in front of the water curtain cave, touch the falling droplets, and make their way to the opposite bank. If time allows, why not take a bamboo raft and drift on the pool, fully enjoying the beauty of the landscape. Highlight : Upon entering the scenic area, the first sight is Danbi Garden, with the Shuanglong Waterfall on the left and the Shouxing Waterfall on the right. However, due to seasonal changes, only a trickle remains of the Shuanglong Waterfall, and the Shouxing Waterfall is reduced to water marks on the cliff. Rock climbing enthusiasts can challenge themselves at this base. In addition, the lifelike reclining Buddha and stone tiger statues are worth a visit. Highlight : Following the plank path deeper into the gorge, you arrive at the narrow passage known as 'One Line Sky'. The towering reddish-brown rock walls stack upon each other, creating a spectacular natural wonder. Highlight : Exiting the gorge, the view suddenly opens up. Continue past piles of rocks to reach an area as beautiful as a mini Jiuzhaigou. The unmissable Qinglong Pool is breathtakingly beautiful. It takes about 1 hour to walk from the entrance of the scenic area to Qinglong Pool, on a flat road. Upon arrival, the mountain path awaits the brave to explore, but we chose to stop here. Besides the thrilling experience of rafting, there is another place for fun on the outskirts of the scenic area. The scenic area's parking lot faces the Foshou Pagoda. Climbing the steep 'Z'-shaped steps will take you to the top of the pagoda. As a historical village, Dahe Village has many old houses, ancient stone paths, and the Great River Pass, which has been rebuilt over generations, making it an ideal spot for history enthusiasts. The Geological Museum is located to the left of the scenic area's main gate, where a wealth of geological treasures awaits the curious.
