2-Star Hotels in Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium

The hotel is very close to FlixBus bus stop! There is a police station and halal supermarket for Muslim community behind the hotel. The hotel should consider having 2 front desk workers at a time instead of just 1 person manning the front desk. When there are group of people talking and running around at the hotel room corridor, I couldn’t find the front desk person to solve the problem as there was no one at the front desk.

Wonderful location, room size just nice, toilet size is ok too,, near supermarkets, convenience store, restaurants n subways n translation, front desk guy was very friendly n good service. Price is ok too. Highly recommended to stay there. My room has a balcony too which u can access easily.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel looks so chic and the staff are very friendly. You can ask them to borrow a lock for the locker in the room. They provide hairdryer, handsoap, hair shampoo and shower gel as well. My only complaint is that the kitchen is open from 9am-11pm. We normally wake up at 6-7am to have breakfast so this is a bit inconvenient. The area is also quite safe at night. Highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly! The only downside was the lack of an elevator, but since it's only 4 floors maximum, it wasn't a problem. Getting there from the airport or central station late in the evening was also hassle-free. All the main attractions like Grand Place and Manneken Pis were just a 10-minute walk away. The location is absolutely perfect! Many thanks to the wonderful staff!

I did a late check-in. The reception is open 24 hours so I was able to check in with peace of mind. It was hard to work at night so as not to disturb other guests. There are no curtains for the beds. There is a bathroom and toilet in one room.

Good, clean, free breakfast. However there’s rule, where you can’t enter the room from 12-3pm because of housekeepers cleaning. So i can’t sleep/rest during those period. Need to get out.

The reception seems to be not open 24 hours, but you can check in at the bar at the annex even if you arrive late at night. There is no number in the dormitory bed, so it was a method of finding and using a place that was vacant by myself. The bed was fine. However, the luggage storage was broken and could not be pulled out, and the other was placed in a place where it could not be pulled out due to the structure of the room, and neither of them could use it. I asked if I could change the room at the reception, but I was told that it was full, and on the night of the first day, I was allowed to use the underground luggage room. On the second day, I checked out only one person in the same room, so I put two people's luggage in one luggage. Please be careful because the room number 31 I stayed in is full and one person cannot use the luggage storage!

Location is good, walking distance to Lidl supermarket, the reception is nice and polite. The cleaning lady is very kind and professional. Will come back again if I go to Brussels

Hotel Le Grand Colombier was a simple and fairly basic place to stay. The location is tucked away, which made it nice and quiet, but unfortunately it was a bit too far from the train station to be convenient, so I wouldn’t really recommend it if you need easy access to transport. The facilities and overall style of the hotel were on the modest side, nothing fancy, but it did the job for a short stay. The real highlight was the staff, who were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience much nicer overall.

I highly recommend this small hotel in Brussels. And I would like to thank Monique, the receptionist, for her homely welcome and efficiency. She is a perfect hospitality expert and a nice personality. The place is impeccably clean: the linen, towels, bathroom, public areas. There is a nice catering area and a pretty small yard. The location is very convenient. I am definitely going to stay at this hotel on my future visits.
