It was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.
It was a bit old, so I was worried, but
it was perfect in terms of location. It was a great location for a Vatican tour!
I think it would be good if they just paid more attention to cleaning the public bathroom floor~!

Big spacious room, tiny but comfortable bathroom.
The room was clean, as you can see there are only some scuff marks from the trolleys of the people previously occupying the room.
The location is good. Near a lot of restaurants, near the station but in a safe area, and with a metro station nearby.
The only negative thing, no traditional bidet.
The staff is super nice and accommodating. Really a positive experience overall for us. We will definitely be back.
The location is fine. There's a bus stop right in front that connects to a metro station going straight to Rome’s city center. The place is clean and quiet.
Some staff are friendly and helpful. Others seem like they don’t want to be there. No greeting, no eye contact—just a sense of disinterest. Cleaning staff stared at us like we were in their way. No “hello,” just pressure to leave so they could do their job. It might be a cultural thing, but it felt cold.
You can rent a water kettle for €15, and you’ll get the money back if it’s returned in good condition. But even that feels like a trust issue with guests. For hot water, a deposit system like that seems excessive.
The price matches the service and accommodation. It’s not great, not bad—just okay. Don't expect much more than the basics.

The hotel seemed recently renovated. Its location was very convenient, close to Termini station and within walking distance of the Colosseum. The room and bathroom were clean and larger than we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the daily €5 charge for the air conditioning, which felt a bit unusual.

The location is great if you are needing to be near the train station or not as it is a lively and busy area with many wonderful historical places and a variety of very good food choices all within walking distance. The staff were all very kind and the room was comfortable and had everything I needed including a fan and an air conditioner and a very good small refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.
With a stay at Plancton II in Rome (Flaminio), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Villa Borghese and Stadio Olimpico. This guesthouse is 2.6 mi (4.2 km) from Piazza Navona and 2.8 mi (4.4 km) from Trevi Fountain.
Featured amenities include laundry facilities and refrigerator in a common area.
Make yourself at home in one of the 2 guestrooms. Prepare your meals in the shared/communal kitchen. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The room was quite clean, and the location was good. However, there's no elevator, and the stairs are narrow and steep. We arrived late at night and had to self-check-in, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a lot of luggage – it's a real struggle. Other than that one flaw, everything else was great, and the staff were very warm and friendly.
The room had everything I needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but useful. However I couldn't get TV to work. Hostel is about and hour far from the center. It is not close to the metro station but there are many buses. It was a great deal for its price. I enjoyed my stay here.
The hotel is 6 stops from San Giovanni Metro Line C, Mirty Station.
The first inconvenience-line C closes at 21:00. Until 23:00 MS subway rarely goes. This is a problem for those who have come to see the evening city. Problem 2 - staff speaks only Italian but tries to help through a Google translator. The problem is 3-disabled light in 9.30 morning, the windows of my room went out on the deaf wall and collected things and left with wet hair was unpleasant. Number 107 is two-bedroom - very small, out of the window smells of sewerage, the window comes out on the wall. Sound isolation is bad. The lingerie is clean, the room is updated, but the plumbing and bath needs repair,. The cleaning was not necessary for 2 nights, the garbage was not removed. The 3 star hotel is not pulled. MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either.
The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it.
The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.
GGuest UserThe environment is very good! Whether it is the surrounding or indoor!
And the staff are very nice!
And it is very comfortable and the space is large!

CCameron J FosterWhat an amazing place, i finished my cycle ride from Canterbury -Rome on the francigena.
I’ve stayed in many hostel type accommodations but this one is more like a hotel, very clean, all amenities you could possibly need, 24hr front desk, laundromat, big beautiful relaxing private courtyard which i thought was super cool ,relaxing lounge, bar , restaurant with delicious tapas and other food, really nice buffet breakfast , its in the heart of rome, easy bus and train connections, 20 mins from main tourist spots.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was an issue for them.. bar and waiting staff really cheerful, all the staff were multi lingual.
I had an issue where i needed a bike bag from decathlon (only one in stock!)about 10km cycle ride away, the lovely woman at reception called them for me to make sure it was still there and to hold it back for me 🥰
I really can’t fault it, electronic entry, lovely big bunks, lovely shower and toilet in each room!
Very affordable when you consider the cost of other accommodation in such a location.
I will most definitely return on my next visit to Rome and highly recommend to travellers ❤️
MM300142****The room was very clean, and the location was great. There's also a large balcony outside on the 4th floor. Each bed has a lock, which feels very secure, and the personal space offers good privacy. The downside is that there's no elevator to the 4th floor, and my luggage was too heavy to carry. Luckily, a Chinese gentleman helped me take it up to the 4th floor. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby that serves 'roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger), and it's absolutely delicious.
GGuest UserFantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer.
But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here.
What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella.
Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc.
But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry!
Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.

RRobinTan24Hotel location is a little far fr Train / Metro Station. But can reach by bus 649 n a short walk. Can also reach by metro n a 500m distance.
Villa is run down as are its amenities. It will be good if Villa can replace its old & worn out sofas in d hall & old kettle. D dining plates are new but cutlery is missing?
NNatthenutterThis hotels location is great. It's near to everything.
I walked to the main tourist attractions.
The hotel room was great. I was expecting a single room, but I got a double, always a bonus.
The room is a little dated, but I quite liked that. It took me back to when I was a child going down the working man's club with my parents 🤣 keeping it retro , love it!
The room had everything I needed. It was clean and light (even had shutters and blacked out curtains, which made the room dark).
The staff were helpful & polite, which is all I ask for.
The only negatives were the tram line (which could be quite loud and rumble at times) & the hotel tax; they wanted it in cash/euros I didn't have any euros as I didn't think I'd need them, thinking I could pay with everything by card.
Other than that, a great stay in Rome.
