Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market.
If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

Guest UserThis place is honestly not as bad as the reviews make it seem. The room is your average Korean hostel room (no curtains tho). The bathroom is a bit messy but overall not dirty. The location is very convenient if you are planning to explore the island by bus.
For the very little price paid, I would stay at this hostel again!

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room.
The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well.
The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.

Guest UserMy stay at this hotel has been very unpleasant.
First, I felt like I was being judged based on my race. In the U.S., we don’t usually take off our shoes indoors, so I honestly forgot. I apologized, but the owner was rude and asked me if I was Chinese—which made me very uncomfortable.
Second, I’m sensitive to noise. I asked to switch rooms because the air conditioner in my first room was too loud. In the second room, I could hear noise from upstairs. When I asked again, the owner said there were no rooms left and that I’d have to wait until tomorrow. Out of curiosity, I went to check the third room myself, but the owner watched me through cameras and said I was ”weird.” I don’t understand why I can’t even look around without being watched, especially when I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
Lastly, there is some exercise equipment near the front desk. There’s no sign saying guests can’t use it, so I was curious and started using it. But the owner’s wife asked me, ”Why don't you go to the park to work out?”—implying that the equipment isn’t for guests. That felt really dismissive. Also, there is a camera in my room. I understand it might be for fire safety, but it still makes me feel uncomfortable—like I'm being watched.
Overall, I’m just really upset by their attitude.

Guest UserThe room greatly exceeded my expectations. A CU convenience store is right at the doorstep, and the location isn't out of the way at all. The proximity to public transport is also a huge plus. The hotel also provides a microwave and water dispenser downstairs, so I never had to buy water during my outings. What's more, the hotel owner speaks Chinese! For this price, it offers excellent value. I'd definitely book this hotel again for a second trip to Jeju Island. The only minor issue was that the hairdryer in the room was broken; I hope it can be replaced soon. It's essentially a self-check-in hotel; upon evening arrival, you just find your key card with your name on it at the front desk.

Posted on Oct 10, 2025|Deluxe Family Twin Room with Mountain View
Guest UserWe were quite disappointed upon arrival. We had specifically booked a mountain view room, but were given a city view room with mountains in the distant background—a view that looked nothing like what was advertised in the hotel’s room listing.
When we raised this with the front desk and showed them the discrepancy using a photo comparison (our view vs. the advertised one), we were told that the building had been constructed recently and the room photos hadn’t been updated. However, the buildings obstructing our view clearly appeared not to be new, making that explanation unconvincing.
What was even more disappointing was the lack of any effort to rectify the situation. The hotel could have at least offered us an alternative room, even a cheaper one with partial sea and mountain views, but this wasn’t done. We ended up paying a premium for a view that didn’t meet expectations, and left feeling misled.
Parking
The listing stated free parking, but both nights, the hotel car park was full. We had to park in public areas, and one night, we ended up parking at the roadside due to a lack of space. As foreigners unfamiliar with Korean parking regulations, this caused unnecessary stress—we were worried about the risk of parking fines for potentially illegal parking.
Other Concerns
There seemed to be extra charges for everything. Only two complimentary bottles of water were provided each night. When we went to the lobby to ask for two paper cups, we were told we had to pay for them. Fortunately, this charge was waived—possibly because they were aware of our parking issue—but it still left a negative impression.

soulz007For solo travelling, it is good enough.
The name of this hotel could be new. I can find Hotel Moon in Naver maps but it is not the same address.
The room is big and toilet & shower area are separated. Location is not the best but manageable.
Additional items like toothbrush or stuff needs to be paid.
Instructions on cleaning up the room is not informed and I was told that we need to deposit our card into a box only after they didnt clean up.
Overall, it is still clean and located on higher floor if requested. It is very near to the airport.

Yuyurose
Women only guesthouse. The sense of safety is worth the price.
It’s not difficult to list what it to be loved about the place. Comfortable bedding, luggage storage before and after check in if you have a late flight, relaxing space on the first floor, cleanliness.
The complimentary breakfast made by the staff is above standards. I’m so grateful to be able to taste seaweed clam soup and Korean rice, and making your own eggs. But there are also options of bread and butter, and cereal. Fresh coffee, tea and water are also provided.
At the end of the day it is a shared space and not always perfect in regards to noise, sometimes it can be noisy after 11pm. But the girls I stayed with were very nice and majority of times are open to chatting and communicating regards to lights out times.
There was an incident with one staff member in the morning who wore black headphones, pink loungewear and had dark glasses.
She was a bit rude regards to surroundings and almost hit me while opening the upper cupboard doors and fridge. Later, she was also disrespectful to another Chinese guest who wanted to ask a question at the front desk.
Aside from this I truly enjoyed my stay here in central Jeju, and found it very comfortable and had decent privacy with the curtains. The guests were overall very respectful and I had the pleasure to meet nice people.
I look forward to staying here again if I visit Jeju again.

Had a wonderful stay at Aqua Beautique Hotel for my birthday trip! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.
I also appreciated the assistance provided regarding parking and my dietary inquiries about the breakfast options, which made my stay even more comfortable and worry-free. Thank you for helping make my birthday trip a memorable one!
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
