Whangarei Villas

Everything was/is awesome. Clean, Spacious, cooktop if needed and right in the city CBD. Reception was very welcoming. Bedding is clean and comfortable as the best 4 star hotels only missing the thicker mattress topper and thicker dooner to be a 5 star. Unfortunately the studio doesn't have a washer/dryer combo that I have become accustomed to with Quest but the staff helped out with alternative arrangements to meet my extended trip that I needed clean clothes the next day.

Felt like I was in Fiji but colder! Great resort, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the restaurant food is fantastic. We also used a conference room, which was suitable for our purposes and the catering was great.

In the motel hotel, the bedding is very clean, all aspects are ok, but the price is pretty good, basically meet the requirements. Easy parking and good value for money.

Spacious and not too far to walk to the quay. The included breakfast was a very good value for money. Plenty of choices and good size serving. While initially it felt like Faulty Towers, the staff warm up and were friendly. They helped us with planning our route for our holiday. The bathroom and toilet could do with a little bit of upgrade. The place is looking a bit tired and could do with a little bit of touch up. Also, being in the main road, it's pretty noisy from the traffic. The weather was quite warm so we're unable to close the window which made sleeping difficult.

We were visiting Whangarei to attend a funeral and The lovely staff allowed us to check in late as we had been turned away from our previously booked motel due to their check in Policy. Staff here are wonderful and really do make you feel welcome. The Buffet Breakfast is an absolute must and was fantastic after a huge day of travel the previous day. The hospitality and professionalism shown means when we visit Whangarei at any point in the future this will be our first choice every time.

Really nice place. Roomy and great overnight place when on a road trip through the northern part of the north island.
