This was our second visit to the hotel. The facility is perfect. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. A special shout-out is deserved here to Eugenia in the pool bar who cannot do enough to serve you and will tirelessly take pictures as required. Every member of staff is so professional and engaging. Pool is a good size, plus a children's pool— plenty of sun beds with shade. Our room was a one-bed poolside apartment with a small functional kitchenette facility (2 ring hob, sink and full-size fridge). The bathroom and shower are huge. Maid service every day. Breakfast was good and can be taken outside on the patio. We didn't try the restaurant in the evening although the menu looked good (emphasis on meat) and seemed reasonably priced. Walking distance (10 mins) the ”secret” beaches at melho and pintadinho. Walk to Ferragudo town square, which is 20 minutes. A return Uber is approx 5-6 euros. There is complimentary car parking beneath and on the side of the complex. Am already arranging a return next year.

Stay here in early September 2022. The villa was in excellent condition and very spacious. Pool was super clear and well looked after. The 3 kids loved it. Location is superb with beaches close by and other attractions such as waterpark and Benagil caves

A pretty villa with the most amazing gardens. A citrus grove for making fresh orange juice daily and exotic plants to explore. The pool is a good size and the perfect place to relax, lounging in the sun. The location is perfect. Situated down a quiet road

For me this hotel ticks the boxes for a family holiday and at a good/great price. Our main draw is the kids swimming pool - and the price. I have yet to find a hotel that has a pool that has as many slides/flumes as this hotel does within this price bracket. With a 4 year old and a 1 year old the pool is ideal. I have tried to branch out and find a hotel that suits us more than this for the same price, but as of yet I haven't found anything. Maybe that says more about my research skills, but I did really really try. Is the hotel perfect? No. * The entertainment isn't great - although the staff providing the entertainment really try their hardest. The entertainment is more ”European than British” (I'm ok with this to be honest, it is a European resort - not Butlins). They did have some live singing this year which is better than just dance based entertainment. They are holiday reps, not professional entertainers. The reps work hard throughout the day organising things for guests although I would say it's mostly the Europeans that participate in these activities - but all are welcome to. * The mini disco was better in the main theatre rather than on the new location of the roof, in my opinion. A better atmosphere for the kids and not as many expensive distractions. They have improved this bit though, with higher fencing to make it safer and improving the bar. It's still a faff to get to with a pram. Our wee boy totally prefers the theatre as its an exciting place to be with lots of space. He also loves the popcorn and the visiting animals. * When the hotel gets busy the WiFi can be slow. We were there for 10 days, for the first 5 we had no issues with Wifi, when it got busier the WiFi became less reliable. * When it's busy and you want a particular sun lounger you may need to queue for it. Again, for the first 5 days of our trip we didn't have to but as the hotel filled up and we wanted loungers in the shade then we had to queue. What I can say is that every time I have visited (3 times now) I have noticed improvements. * Slushies from every bar, this wasn't always the case. * New Cocktail machine making cocktails quicker and reducing queues. * Themed food nights. * The quality of the food in the Chinese restaurant has improved. They are obviously listening to feedback and trying their best to constantly improve. But the main selling points are:- 1. The pools. Perfect for young children, loads of slides, clean, my boy will hopefully be hold enough for the flumes next year. 2. The location. The beach is just down the road (it's stunning), the wee bus collects us from the front door to take us to a quiet town, and Zoomarine is a cheap Uber away - Zoomarine is a must for anyone with a young family. We go for 2 days out of our 10. 3. Cleanness. The whole hotel is spotless, but most importantly, the pool is spotless and the pool cleaner can be seen regularly. We thanked him every day as he was always busy. 4. Price. I have yet to f

Booked a 3-night twin room to attend a friend's lecture in Lagoa. The hotel, or better, motel is excellent for those on wheels, not for those on foot. If you have disabilities find another town in the Algarve. Some sets of stairs do not have rails, you have to go round the entrance to physically 'get in'. The reception has only 1 staff member when off-season, be prepared and do it all online. Forget questions about taxis, transportation, and restaurant advice is really subjective. The room was very comfortable, the second door to a set of stairs (curled) with direct access to the car park/entry of the hotel area was not. Cold and humidity pass through the doors (front door leading to corridor inside as well), as doors need maintenance. Breakfast is good and varied, for all tastes, except gluten-free options. Internet signal very weak, had to use phone data package. Check-in is only at 4pm. Pro's. besides what I already mentioned: bus terminal 5 min walk, good restaurants each way 5 min walk (one is just next door), supermarket passing the roundabout, beds very comfortable. You can walk to the centre (10 min walk) but the town is without interest, unless you are there for an event, for those on foot, you can stay here and get to know other nearby cities in the Algarve by bus, as the terminal is so close, and it is not expensive to go around by bus.
