This is an honest review of how I found this hotel. I'm not a hotel snob in the slightest, but know a good one when I see it. I think with a few tweaks, this hotel could be very good. Location: Hidden away, if you want a place for a good night out, this isn't it. If you're there for sun, then you'll find that. Nearby Belek old town, not much other than the same old knock off clothes shops. Sunset Restaurant for the football is a good spot! There is a Burger King and Domino's nearby. £20 return taxi to Land of Legends. 10 min free shuttle to beach generally was alright and came/went when advertised. You just have to follow the orange towels. If you want to go anywhere, book on Uber (Yellow Cab Taxis) and you'll feel safer. Check in: Checked in late, 1.40am, was speedy enough, young lad spoke no English. Thankfully, Orhan the manager was there and I felt welcome from him as he spoke English. There was a Russian lady who worked the desk. She was downright rude and abrasive. Room: This is the highlight of the hotel. We stayed in a bigger room, Queen size bed, small single bed. Brand new hotel, so clean and well maintained by cleaning staff, who work round the clock. Nice shower, comfy bed. Only let down was balcony. Very shallow and with only one plastic chair you couldn't sit out there both of you! Ask for 2 keys, you only get 1 when you check in which is bizarre. Food: Very same-y and tailored very much to Turkish/Russian. Dinner from 19:00-21:00 however GO TO DINNER BEFORE 20:15 as it seems they stop cooking then. They were turning lights off in the restaurant at 20:55 basically wanting you out by then. Never experienced that before! Shambles. Snack bar near pool decent, good pizza and chips. Burgers okay. Had this instead of lunch half the trip. Pool: Pool was fine, well maintained. Saw regularly it getting PH/temp checked. Cleaned at night. You have to be tactical if you want the sun all day as lots of the areas round the pool are shaded which is crazy! Water slides are class. Lifeguard very relaxed. Pool bar Fatma is lovely and serves drinks most of the day. Usual watered down alcohol but a decent selection of that and soft drinks. I always got a decent spot in the sun (although by 9am, most beds are taken). Entertainment (or lack of): They advertised lots of activities, but there was none. My Missus constantly asked (5 days in a row) and was always told a BS reason for it not to be happening. Turns out the ”animation team” is the DJ. Calling him a DJ is being very nice. Spotify all day, loud banging music which continues right into the night. Every night the same, him thinking everyone wants to listen to his set which is the same banging headache inducing nonsense. There is a dart board, and table tennis but it's very much please yourself. One positive, if you have children, they will be well looked after from what I saw. The kids animator worked tirelessly within her hours and seemed to do it all on her own! Face painting, games,

3rd year back, we absolutely love it here. This is our 3rd consecutive year at Cornelia Deluxe, never fails to impress, from the friendly regular staff, to the excellent food & cleanliness of the hotel... makes it worth coming back to year after year. So I'll start with the pros: Excellent food choices, Tai Pen is lovely food worth a few visits. Daphne bar during the day is best for food imo, chicken burger, pasta dishes, and the pizzas are spot on. BBQ beach night is unbelievable, great choice of meats all cooked on charcoal bbq. Buffet restaurants have some good themed nights, our fave was the Mexican & Asian. We hired one of the beach cabanas, well worth the £70 drinks and food brought to you as and when, sirloin steak as many as you like 😀. What makes the stay extra special to us is seeing the regular staff, always remember us from previous visits, which is nice. Always going the extra mile, thanks Senar, Saban & Mahmut. The hotel is incredibly clean, which is a big deal, fresh towels daily, mini bar fully stocked every morning the maids do a fantastic job keeping all the rooms that clean. 👏 Kids club staff friendly & always encouraging our son to join in with activities throughout the day. This year's animation & entertainment team were brilliant, special thanks to Lawsen, that guy has so much energy, real asset to Cornelia. There is a few slight niggles, only minor improvements needed, which hasn't put us off, but probably needs addressing in the near future: WiFi is very patchy in places, especially in the junior villa area. WiFi upgrade needed - streaming or working from a laptop is virtually impossible if you take your work away with you.👀 Smoking.... I know rules are different in other countries, but I do think it's good manners not to light up when somebody is eating on the next table.. smoking areas to be provided? The hotel is super clean, but in need of some desperate updates in places and a lick of paint, villa rooms very dated. These small issues won't stop us returning, as the pros massively outweigh the small cons, we will be back!!!!!

We enjoyed 8 nights here in April this year. We are a family of 4. There is a small supplement for the a la carte (slightly more for a couple of them) but it was worth it. We really enjoyed all our meals here and the selection at the buffet restaurant was the best we have seen by far! The cocktails were wonderful. Food and drink here is generally on a different level from other hotels we have stayed at but this is probably reflected in the price. The entertainment was good in the evenings. The sunbeds all had QR codes on them for ordering food and drink. This was great! On a couple of occasions on the beach however nothing turned up. We did have a problem with the room we were allocated to begin with jn Block B. The showers both stank of vomit and our balcony was right next to a huge air con unit. This made a noise day and night. We requested a room change and this was organised promptly for the following day. We loved the WhatsApp assistant. A great touch by the hotel. Any question, concerns were answered quickly. We took a couple of trips into Belek town and didn't like it. It was nice to return to the hotel on both occasions. We were dropped off at a shop and the taxi driver told the shop assistant what hotel we had come from. I think the price you get quoted once ushered into the shop is decided based on which hotel you are staying in. The man in the shop was pushy, so we bought nothing. The land of legends was a short taxi ride away. It was so busy. Get there early if you go and take a lot of cash for food because it isn't cheap. Our son found a blade in the sand too, which he almost stepped on with bare feet, so be careful.
