This was my first time staying here. Overall, everything was satisfactory. My only suggestion would be about the children's playground. It would be much better if it were mopped daily, and the slides and playhouses wiped down regularly. My child played there and got completely dirty – their feet were all black! 🙈🙈 I had to give them a bath immediately upon returning to the room. 🙈 Additionally, it would be great if they could add more types of toys, perhaps a ball pit or similar. While there were plenty of chairs and tables for children, there were no drawing papers or colored pencils available. That's just my main feedback. Everything else was perfectly fine. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. Thank you, Golden Tulip! 🥳👌

The hotel's surroundings are very lively, but the hotel's own restaurant serves delicious and affordable food! Highly recommended. The breakfast is Indonesian style and very rich. Overall, it's very clean and convenient for visiting various attractions.

Overall OK, good location, easy access & so many cafe nearby. Even the breakfast also so good like so many local foods that can try. Just one thing no iron inside the room & asking to send iron to room they just take note but not send the iron .

We choose to stay in Swiss-Bel due to our great experience with Ciputra in Semarang which is owned by Swiss-Bel.
Unfortunately, Swiss-Bel Surabaya can't compete with Ciputra Semarang. Both hotels have similar pricing, but Ciputra has a much better atmosphere and amenities.
Swiss-Bel Surabaya has no bar area. The breakfast is served in the lobby where guests check-in and people outside walk by.
The food choice is much less than Ciputra and Swiss-Bel Malang.
However, the hotel itself is good and breakfast sufficient if you don't compare it with Ciputra and Swiss-Bel Malang.
One thing which absolutely needs to be improved is that jam, chocolate paste and peanut paste should be served in cups, not jars where guests have to scoop out the sweetness themselves with a knife or spoon.
This is unhygienic and not tasteful.

The location is quite good, and the lobby decoration is impressive, but the rooms are just average and a bit small. However, the price is incredibly reasonable at just over 300 a night, making it excellent value for money. The breakfast is also very generous.

I had a wonderful experience at the Four Seasons by Sheraton. The location is perfect for tourists — there’s a large shopping mall right next door, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. A lively tourist street is also just a short walk away, so there’s always something to explore.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, this hotel offers great comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
The hotel was great: it is crispy clean, strategic location (it is located in a very large and modern shopping mall complex), the service is top notch, especially during breakfast at Djaman Doeloe restaurant. One of the staff (Evi, I think) asked me what my favourite that they didn't have on that morning. Told her, I like traditional ”klepon” cake. The next morning, Pak Andik, the pastry chef, brought me 3 klepon, fresh from his kitchen. What a surprise. The cake was delicious, especially with black coffee. Thanks, Pak Andik and Evi, for your hospitality. Will be back again in the near future.
This was the second time we stayed in this hotel, and the experience was always awesome. We really liked the room that we booked this time, and the vibes the view and the experience was good. Unfortunately I find the dishes during breakfast were quite bland and the choice was so limited, but we really like the relocations on the top floors, got really good views, and made the whole breakfast quite enjoyable. Regardless we will always recommend this hotel and definitely will stay here again in the future, 😁
The experience was phenomenal! All staff were very friendly and went the extra mile in terms of service. The location is great, being right next to a mall so it’s easy to find something to do. Highly recommend their spa!
They have a lot of activities here. Kids club room, big swimming pool with jacuzzi. Kids love to stay here

Very Good
RRose AnnWe use this place every time we go to Ijen to do birdwatching for years.
Room is ok with warm and good water pressure.
They have western and local restaurant on site. The Western one was ok but the local restaurant is always a no and serve poor quality food, the warung can serve better Nasi goreng than in here. Some of the server in the local restaurant are lack of training.
JjetlaggerWestin Surabaya is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and amenities and impeccable service to match. The pool and surrounds are pleasant for swimming.
The Club room is very comfortable, quiet and feels fresh all round. The heavenly bed is such a delight to sleep in. The Club lounge is one of the most outstanding hotel lounges I have frequented. The views from the 39th floor are divine whether day or night. Service levels in the Club lounge are impeccable from each and every staff member.. so welcoming, professional with beautiful hospitality. Food selection, drinks and comfort all round. Nila and all of her lovely colleagues are truly at an inspiring level of excellence.
JJeslynTThe place looks amazing and beautiful with the animals roaming free. Loved the feeding the giraffe session. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However the place is a lil far off with lack of food options (only 1 restaurant open on weekdays) and for a kid friendly hotel, there is a lack of kid cutleries, the room toilet was slippery and the play room was very rundown. We also got many bed bug bites. After making a complaint, they did change our room, gave us an upgrade although I did feel that our previous room was better than the upgraded one. All in all, good for a 2 night stay
GGuest UserClean, spacious, and very comfortable room. For the price of 613k, it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, check-in was a hassle. The older receptionist said that the booking details had to match the ID of the person checking in. It took a really long time, it was frustrating, and I ended up getting annoyed. However, other staff members were friendly and helped me with my bags to the room, even though I had a lot.
GGuest UserAll the facilities are clean and quite good in quality. Only 1 shortcomings: the door can't shield the the room from sound in the corridors totally, I can clearly heard the knockings and bell ringing from other rooms at night. But in general, it's still a quite decent hotel to stay.
GGuest UserA very good vintage hotel in Surabaya Old Tiown. Loca yes just across Taman Sejarah and near Jembatan Merah.
The service is excellent, when I got a warm welcoming letter and a plate of chocolate cake.

GGuest UserThe rooms have all been renovated and everything is perfect. Even the hallways aren't outdated and feel clean. All facilities are well-maintained, including the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Only breakfast requires a bit of a wait because it's high season and many people are on staycation, but overall, it's good.
GGuest UserGenerally, the stay was fine, but there were some drawbacks. Breakfast felt underwhelming since it was held in meeting rooms rather than the restaurant. The biggest issue was the check-in process; our room wasn't ready until 4:00 PM (and after asking the staff several times), and it seemed many other families were in the same boat.
