I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach! Rating: 4.5/5 We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot. The Highlights: Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it. Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed. Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day. Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good! Pro-Tip for Guests: The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is unbeatable, offering beautiful beach views and a great variety of food options within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless and well-kept, and our family suite offered plenty of space and very comfortable bedding. We spent a lot of time at the Sampan Bar, which quickly became our favorite spot. Between the great music, refreshing drinks, and the ability to watch the kids play on the beach, it was perfect. A big shout-out to the team at Sampan for the awesome service! Also, for anyone driving an EV, it’s convenient that they have a Shell Recharge station. Note that only Port 1 was working during our visit, but it’s still a great facility to have on-site.

The staff during check in was nice. We request for baby court and it sent asap, the room was good, clean and big. Love the view from our room. Breakfast was so good, because its Raya Haji they served rendang ayam and lemang. Super delicious! We hang out at the cafe, the food was delicious. Surrounding was good, comfortable for those who have kids and baby. My daughter supper happy with the pool and the private beach. Definitely will come back!

We arrived at the hotel around 8:00 PM and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile. The hotel itself looked pleasant, and the room was in good condition upon arrival. We also requested extra towels, which were delivered promptly without any issues. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The toilet appeared to have a leakage issue, and the air-conditioning was not cold enough despite the temperature being set low. During breakfast, food items were not replenished quickly, and tables were not cleaned promptly, making it difficult to find a clean table. Guests also had to look for their own cutlery, including spoons, forks, and tissues. The breakfast selection was quite limited, although the food served was tasty. On a positive note, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. The hotel’s location is also convenient, being close to East Mall Kuantan. As a hotel rated 5 stars, I expected a higher level of maintenance and service, especially in terms of room facilities and breakfast operations. While the stay was comfortable overall, there is definitely room for improvement to meet 5-star expectations.

It was a nice stay with cooling atmosphere/weather, although the units are a bit old and dated. The bathrooms for example seems mouldy. The breakfast was underwhelming with little options, the ham from our American breakfast smelled/tasted off which we reported to the waiter. Additionally, there were monkeys everywhere as well as birds - the monkey and bird can freely come in the breakfast area which is unhygienic and had to be chased out by the staff

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

Plenty of parking. The yellow marked parking spots are for hotel guests, available in front, on the side, and at the back. The TV is great, I love it. Water pressure is good. Aircon is cold. Pillows are a bit hard. Ironing facilities are outside. There's a Coway water dispenser. Excellent. Would definitely repeat my stay.

My friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine. There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.

AAliceLamLocation is very inside but they have their own facilities to enjoy without going to Highlands. Overall, will consider this hotel again. Pros: 1. Bed is comfortable anf soft. 2. Room is huge, high floors is cooling. 3. Services and check in were smooth and fast. They are very friendly as well. Cons: 1. Too many floors and the room no. is very confusing due to the rooms are connected to 3 different buildings. 2. The room has fainted paint smell because it's quite a new building but after opening the balcony then it's fine 3. The soundproof is not too good. Can hear people walking and talking outside the door

MMystery solvedThe stay was good, clean, and easy access to the mall, casino and sky avenue. However be prepared for a 100m run from the entrance to your hotel room, it is actually wide enough and quite a nice walk 🤭 staff were well trained and attentive to any needs or questions you may have, not sure what amenities the hotel has as there wasn’t any that had directional cues for guests, so I’m guessing there aren’t any? I may be wrong

AAnonymous UserThe Hotel is super located direct in the national park. Staff is friendly and offered breakfast and dinner were for us more than enough. Tours can be booked directly there. Only topic is that the cabins have seen already better times, the equipment is old and our first cabin hasn’t really light inside and the balcony was directly connected to the rain forest. After we changed the cabin it was much more better.

JjosiefineeI had a pleasant 4-night stay at the resort. The room was clean and comfortable, with clean sheets, a cozy bed, and strong air conditioning—though it does take a while to cool the room, so having a fan would have been a great addition. A plus point was the washroom—there was hot water for the shower and strong water pressure for both the shower and toilet, which was especially refreshing after a long day out. Housekeeping was done on the third day. The room was also spacious enough to spread out 2 medium suitcases. The location is excellent—just a short 5–7 minute walk from the jetty, with the beach right in front of the resort. They also helped arrange luggage transport to and from the jetty, which was very convenient. The buffet breakfast is simple and decent, with items like fried noodles, 2-3 fried/steamed items (samosas, curry puffs, spring rolls, siew mai, bao, pancakes, waffles, french toast, pita sandwich, etc.) fresh fruit, bread with spreads (butter, kaya, chocolate, honey), cereals, and an egg station. After a few days, the options do feel repetitive, but it’s still a fuss-free start to the day. I came mainly for a diving trip, so I didn’t use the resort activities. The beachfront restaurant was a highlight—great spot to enjoy sunset during dinner. The menu has a mix of local, Asian fusion, and Western food. I’d recommend the beef pepperoni pizza, grilled chicken chop and fried chicken wings; though the nachos were unfortunately unavailable. The resort is peaceful and quiet, not noisy at all. It seems to cater to a wide range of guests—I noticed a mix of families and groups of friends, which gave it a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. There’s also a water refill station, which I appreciated, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a simple and peaceful place to stay, especially if you want something close to the beach.
