Hotel near Downtown Omaha,Omaha
Welcome to Hotel Indigo Omaha Downtown, where the past pours a drink and the future holds the key. Our building has stories - originally opened in the 1910s as a hotel for railroad travelers, it was a front-row seat to Omaha’s bootlegging days, backroom deals, and underground buzz. Today, it’s reimagined as a boutique hotel that blends bold design, rich history, and the spirit of the city we call home. You’ll find us just steps from the Old Market, Union Pacific, Creighton University, and some of the city’s best culture, cocktails, and conversation. Inside, you’ll discover modern rooms with personality, nods to our storied past, and local art around every corner. And just off the lobby, hidden behind a market storefront, you’ll find Anna’s Place, our speakeasy-style bar, where dim lights, strong drinks, and a little mystery await. This is where Omaha’s stories live, and where yours starts.

"This place for phenomenal for our honeymoon. This hotel has a ton of character and charm. The rooms were clean and well take care of. The hotel staff was also phenomenal. I’m so happy we stayed here for our wedding night."

GGuest UserOverall, a good experience but with caveats. Staff were professional and super helpful. The room: Very clean, very tidy and smelled fresh. Beds were comfy and maintained pretty well. The room was great and not shabby at all. Coffee maker was good once you know how to find the switch and use it. The bathroom was well stocked with the needed soaps/tissues etc.  Ok, that’s the good stuff… now the not so  The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly at all. As you brush teeth and the seeds from the strawberries you just ate, fall out from between your teeth, then land in the sink, they have a mind of their own and just when you thought they’d rinsed away, they re emerge as you wash your hands. Yes, up from the grave (sink drain) they arise! Ugh. Kinda gross - but not the end of the world. The next thing, breakfast: I arrived at 8am and there were tow hot items. 1. Possibly the worst sausage patties I’ve ever tried to eat. 2. Scrambled eggs - which I found to be empty and only found the promise of fresh ones to be fleeting… I waited a bit (5mins maybe) and lost interest. So my take on breakfast is it’s about as good as a poor gas station.  All this said, I’d go stay again as it was so clean and the staff were so nice. 👍👍🙂

JjxjwangThe room is large and well-equipped. Although the breakfast is not very varied, it tastes good. There is a convenience store 50 meters from the hotel, where you can buy food and daily necessities, which is very convenient.

ZZIQINThe hotel is in a good location, close to the airport, with parking. Self parking is 15 dollars a night. However, the hotel facilities are average, bath towels are not provided, and sanitation is average, so I will not stay again next time.

Amazing
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our three day stay at The Kindler Hotel very much. We were in town for a family wedding and for our purposes the location was optimal. The facilities were clean and appealing and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We would stay again despite the following: 1) The bathroom vanity in our room was quite small as was the bathroom overall but, for us, workable, 2) The air conditioner was a bit loud when it cycled on, as is the case in many hotels, but in terms of keeping the room cool and comfortable it worked just fine, and 3) I found myself wishing the bed included a variety of pillows as some hotels do. I personally found the pillows to be too thick and too firm, however, I am not a large person so I imagine they might be fine for many. These are admittedly relatively minor observations and neither would deter us from staying at The Kindler Hotel again.

GGuest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Peregrine hotel in downtown Omaha! It's such a cute, modern boutique hotel with lots of character and an art-deco-inspired feel. Our room was very quiet, cozy and tucked away with a gorgeous view of the Peregrine courtyard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated little touches like the Nespresso machine, plush robes, and a welcome screen on the TV. Service was consistently great—friendly staff at the front desk, prompt valet, and a quick check-in process. I didn’t dine in the on-site restaurant (The Habitat), but I did enjoy the rooftop bar (The Takeoff), which had great cocktails and a relaxed vibe with amazing skyline views. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and would definitely go back!

GGuest UserThe location is ok, just on the route of the free shuttle bus on the day of the conference in May. On the first weekend of May, hotel prices across the city almost doubled. Room size: 2 people are enough, one person is enough. Overall not bad.

GGuest UserTh Hotel was great. Clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our event of The Murder/Mystery Dinner that was held there, was also, top notch! If I had to pick anything that disturbed us, which wasn't The Hotel's fault was , the homeless guy shouting at us with tatoos on his face from the intersection while leaving. Looks as if there's a ”camp” or something growing by the 72nd and Grover area. Luckily for Omaha, the bridge construction has ceased traffic in this area to give ”the un-housed” time for Satanic cardboard artwork and language classes for ”speaking in tongues”. Overall, it was great night.

RRachelRooms were fantastic and clean. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Only thing about the pool is that the water wasn’t as warm as I feel heated pool should be. Hot tub didn’t seem to get very hot. The first receptionist that checked us in was very friendly and helpful (Friday February 16th 6pm). The receptionist that came on later that night and worked the next evening was rude, didn’t smile or greet at all. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere but here. Waited over 30 minutes at the counter for her to get dollar bills. Have no idea where she was as she wasn’t at the counter.

AAnonymous UserThis is our favorite Omaha hotel. It's reasonable and reliable. Our room was spacious and comfortable, just not as clean as I would want it to be. The obvious daily stuff was taken care of, but a deep cleaning was needed.
