Anonymous UserThis time, we celebrated our anniversary by staying in an Executive Room at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, and the overall experience was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch.
What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip.
Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet.
The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

I stayed for three days, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel staff provided excellent service, basically accommodating every request. The only minor issue was finding some hair on the sofa that hadn't been cleaned when I checked in. All the staff I encountered were very polite, and the large balcony for drying clothes was a thoughtful touch, perfect for guests who need to wash and dry clothes daily. The environment is unparalleled; compared to high-rise hotels, this old city garden design has a richer cultural charm. This established brand is definitely trustworthy. It's surrounded by authentic Guangzhou snacks and is convenient for getting around. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Guest UserLearning from past mistakes! A few years ago, we stayed at a chain hotel in Shangxiajiu, Guangzhou, just for convenience when we were passing through on our way to Chimelong Zhuhai. The windowless room was tiny and dirty, and my daughter complained about it for years.
This time for our trip to Chimelong Guangzhou, I checked Xiaohongshu, and many folks from Zhejiang recommended Guode. I decisively booked it instead of the B&B my sister suggested, and we took a taxi straight here after visiting Chimelong.
The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the metro station, and you can find great food everywhere! The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful; seeing that we had an elderly person with us, they immediately brought non-slip slippers and arranged a quiet, non-smoking room for us.
The room was spacious and bright, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the large bed was super comfortable. Both the elderly and the children were completely satisfied throughout our stay. Outside the window is the bustling cityscape of Guangzhou, while inside it's quiet and comfortable. This is definitely our top choice for our next trip to Guangzhou! P.S. Ordering takeout is convenient. It's also very close to Datong, which my mom loves, so we can sleep in, then take a stroll and enjoy some authentic Cantonese dim sum – pure bliss.

The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the golf course, and the large bathtub on the balcony was great for a soak in the evening. However, I didn't dare use it during the day due to a lack of privacy. Golf hotels generally tend to be less crowded, quiet, and safe, guaranteeing good room and dining quality. On the downside, the complimentary snacks in the minibar seemed unhealthy. Also, the 100 RMB dining voucher required a minimum spend of 200 RMB, which wasn't ideal; it would have been better not to offer it at all. Perhaps because the air conditioning in the room and throughout the hotel was set quite high, there was a damp smell when I first entered the room, and the air purifier wasn't working. In the morning, since the room was above the restaurant, I could actually smell faint cooking odors on the balcony, instead of the natural scent of the grass, which was a bit disappointing. Sometimes, the noise from the lawnmowers was quite loud. The hotel lobby bar had some real books for quiet reading, which was a nice touch. Across from the hotel is Zhangbei Park, which is worth a visit. The hotel is also very close to the Oncology Hospital, Dayun Metro Station, and Sam's Club.

WaltzCame to Dongguan for a basketball game and chose this hotel. The hotel is a bit old, but well-maintained, located in the middle of a golf course, surrounded by greenery, and very quiet. Even though it was November, my kids insisted on swimming, and the water was very clean with not many people around. It was very relaxing to vacation here. Breakfast options were limited and just so-so, but the hotel's set lunch for two was decent. Special shoutout to service staff Xiao Zhu (Little Zhu) for his warm and attentive service. He explained everything clearly and in detail, and even helped us move a bed. Thank you! I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance.

Guest UserThe Tangxia Sanzhen Banshan Hot Spring Hotel in Dongguan was truly a delightful trip! The hotel environment is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery, and the air is fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight was definitely the hot spring water park; the facilities are comprehensive, and the water quality is crystal clear. Soaking in the hot springs was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, as if washing away all fatigue. The children had a blast in the water park, while the adults enjoyed the tranquil hot springs. The dining options were extensive and delicious. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, perfect for both family outings and gatherings with friends. This place allows you to unwind, fills you with happiness, and is highly recommended!

Guest UserThis hotel is super convenient, really close to places like Grandview Mall, TeeMall, and Oriental Plaza. Plus, with the World Cup happening, you can watch live games in the second-floor cafe, and there's a 24-hour tea and snack bar. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary sweet soup service upon check-in! I'll definitely be back!

MaoBoPros: The hotel's location is excellent. It's easily accessible from Exit A of Daliang Zhonglou Station on Foshan Metro Line 3 (which has escalators). Head towards McDonald's, cross the road at the intersection, then turn right at the Orange Crystal Hotel intersection, and you'll arrive at Xiangyunsha Hotel. It's about a 300-meter walk. Turn right out of the hotel's main entrance, and you'll reach Huagai Road Pedestrian Street in about 50 meters, and Qinghui Garden is just two small intersections away.
Hotel Service:
- Front Desk: There was a slight hiccup during check-in, but it was resolved later. (The staff were purely working hard from the start, showing their corporate culture).
- Facilities:
Pros: The room layout matches the official website photos, and the space is generous.
Things to endure:
1. The air conditioner in the room is noisy. During the day, the surrounding environment (excavators working on the road nearby) might mask it a bit. However, at night, the indoor unit of the AC is very loud, especially when the fan changes speed. It sounds like a telegraph machine about to break down, with constant beeps and clattering. On the first night, I woke up hot at around 2 AM and tried to lower the temperature. It was as if I pressed a forbidden button, and the AC started its incessant beeping and clattering, which never stopped... The second night, I decided not to touch it before bed, but I still heard its clattering in my dreams, half-awake... And was the airflow strong? I hung small clothes to dry for two days and nights, and they still weren't dry; I had to use a hairdryer in the end.
2. Insufficient water pressure in the shower: Whenever I tried to use warm water for showering, the water flow immediately became very weak. You need patience to shower.
3. Dim indoor lighting: It's not about having many lights, but having normal brightness. The overall lighting was quite dim. Even if you're only spending a few hours at night, it should still be bright enough to see where you're going and pack your belongings. The brightest lights in the entire room were at the vanity and by the window.
- Dining Department (A big plus! It feels like this hotel mainly relies on its F&B to make money and maintain its reputation.)
The dining area on the 2nd floor offers a rich variety of food, and the taste is excellent. The staff provide great service; the young ladies and gentlemen were very diligent in clearing tables, and the head chef was very friendly and considerate. Thumbs up!
