The location is far from the city bustle and has its own riverside garden. The price of around 400 is very reasonable. I booked a room with breakfast, but when I checked in, the order showed no breakfast. I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if it was an issue with Ctrip. Perhaps it's because the hotel is so inexpensive, but they only provided two bottles of water, and it took a lot of communication to get two more. Overall, the hotel is still quite good.

The Temple Hotel & Spa in Luxor is truly a hidden gem and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. From the beautiful design of the hotel to the exceptional level of service, everything about this place reflects quality and comfort. The moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was incredibly respectful, attentive, and eager to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel at home from day one. One of the best things about The Temple Hotel & Spa is its location. It is close to many of Luxor’s famous attractions while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment away from the busy crowds. This made my trip both exciting and relaxing at the same time.

This hotel is absolutely stunning; the photos don't do it justice. The lawn is dotted with meticulously trimmed African-style trees, and at night, you can stargaze. The temperature is pleasant, and there are hardly any mosquitoes; each room even has a mosquito repellent lamp outside. There's a wonderful sense of tranquil spaciousness. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering great value for money. Right next to the Nile River, you can see the Valley of the Kings on the opposite bank, and the infinity pool by the Nile is absolutely breathtaking! We didn't book all-inclusive, so breakfast wasn't included, and dining out was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi in Luxor is a real hassle, so we often went hungry in the mornings. I'd recommend buying some food the day before or booking breakfast. However, on one occasion, we were stopped and checked for outside food when entering the hotel, which I didn't quite understand or appreciate. Most of the staff were friendly, and they didn't fuss about our late check-out on the last day. We only had one slightly negative experience: we tried to book the hotel's felucca, and the staff told us to come back at 6:10 PM to see if it could sail, or switch to an electric boat if not. When we went to the front desk after 6 PM, there was a different person who told us we had missed the window, as felucca bookings were from 6 PM to 7 PM, and if we missed it, we'd have to book for the next day. I found this confusing and felt like they were passing the buck and unwilling to help.

Every service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night

This prime located Hotel situated on the West Bank of Luxor offers friendly and clean accomodation. The local 24 hour ferry to the east bank is a 5 minute walk away. Bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with T.V and selection of channels. Quieter bedrooms are over looking the delightful swimming pools with bathing towels provided. Breakfast is contintental style served on the rooftop Restaurant.I paid Egp 300 each for breakfast. Lunches and Dinners are served in the Restaurant also. An extenstive fresh Menu is offered at good prices. All the staff are very friendly and the Hotel offers excellent priced accomodation. The Hotel owners made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend this Hotel and have no hesitation in staying again.

I enjoyed my stay very much and wouldn’t think twice about going back. The location is excellent, and Luxor Temple is just a 5-minute walk along the side of the Avenue of the Sphinxes. There are many shops and cafes close by, though the central location can be noisy at times. The hotel and the spacious rooms are dated and could use an update, but everything is comfortable. The rooms include a fridge, a kettle, and free tea and coffee. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay very good value for money. Breakfast offered a great variety, including made-to-order omelettes, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, and yoghurt. The rooftop is a highlight, featuring a small swimming pool with loungers to relax on after sightseeing. There is also a bar serving alcohol and a good range of food. Best of all, the rooftop offers fantastic views of Luxor Temple with the Avenue of the Sphinxes leading up to Karnak Temple in the distance.

Highly recommend this hidden gem hotel in Luxor! The overall environment is clean and elegant with a super comfortable atmosphere. There are neatly arranged lounge chairs by the outdoor swimming pool, and lying on them to sunbathe in the afternoon is the perfect cure for travel fatigue. The breakfast has a mind - boggling variety of options, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts and freshly squeezed juices all available, kick - starting your day full of vitality. Several in - house restaurants are also outstanding, allowing you to enjoy authentic delicacies without leaving the hotel. The room details are well - thought - out. The provided safe allows you to store your personal valuables with peace of mind. The biggest surprise is the bedding—the mattress and pillows are so soft that you won’t want to get up once you lie down. A special shout - out to Yasmin at the front desk! When I arrived at the hotel, it wasn’t yet the check - in time, but she kindly helped me check in early, enabling me to drop my luggage and rest sooner. It was such a thoughtful gesture. It offers great value for money for a one - night stay. You definitely won’t regret choosing to stay here in Luxor. Truly recommended to everyone!

Steigenberger Resort Luxor | My Honest Review 🌴 My stay at the Steigenberger Resort Luxor was, overall, very pleasant and offered great value for money. The hotel's general ambiance is excellent; the public areas are well-maintained, and the garden, pool, and the atmosphere by the Nile are all very comfortable. For a five-star hotel in Luxor, I believe its overall facilities and environment are quite competitive. The room was comfortable and clean. Although some of the facilities show their age, they are still well-maintained. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, saving time when visiting attractions like Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. I also tried the hotel's Lebanese restaurant. The dishes were generally good, but one shrimp dish was quite disappointing. The texture of the shrimp was noticeably tough and dry after grilling, with almost no juice. It didn't live up to the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel restaurant at that price point. I don't have an issue with using frozen shrimp per se, but the key is that the final quality didn't match the price. I reported this issue to the restaurant manager at the time, but the subsequent resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory. Given that the restaurant is not cheap and positions itself as a five-star hotel restaurant, I believe guests are willing to pay more for the ambiance and service, but they should also receive ingredient quality and culinary expertise that match the price. However, I must give special praise to the waiter, Abdallah. His service attitude throughout the meal was excellent – enthusiastic, polite, and very patient. Even after we reported the issue with the dish, he maintained his excellent service, which prevented the overall dining experience from becoming terrible because of that one dish. His service truly deserves commendation. 👏 Putting aside the minor hiccup at the restaurant, the hotel's stay experience itself was very good. With its pleasant environment, comprehensive facilities, and great value for money, it remains a hotel I would highly recommend in Luxor. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to the quality of its dining and the details of customer complaint handling in the future, and also acknowledge employees like Abdallah who diligently serve guests. This would make the overall experience even more complete. 🌅

I visited during the hot season, so while it was a bit of a walk to the temple, it wasn't unmanageable. I booked the most basic room, which was an interior room, but it was actually great because it wasn't hot during the day. The air conditioning was already on before check-in, so there was no stuffiness at all. My tour started early, so I requested a breakfast to-go in advance, and it came with a good variety. On the second day, I ate outdoors, and it was relaxed with a great atmosphere. The only minor annoyance was the persistent touts for horse carriages and taxis in front of the hotel.

I suddenly felt compelled to write a review here in Hurghada. Checking into a new hotel yesterday, the housekeeping staff knocked on our door and warmly asked if we needed anything. This reminded me of Mr. Saleh, the housekeeper at a Luxor hotel, who made me feel completely at home. Since I love towel animals, I left a note and a tip asking if he could fold a crocodile for me. After a day out, I returned to find a huge elephant on the bed! And a cute doll sitting next to it 🪆, which made me incredibly happy. Mr. Saleh probably saw the Jellycat elephant on my bed and folded a similar one based on my preference☺️. The next day, he folded a crocodile 🐊 and a monkey 🐒 hanging from the light. Returning in the evening, it was another surprise! Walking into the bathroom, there was a small fresh flower 🌸 in a cup, instantly brightening my mood, and all my fatigue vanished. On the morning of check-out, I received another swan 🦢. During our stay, he promptly replenished our toiletries and kept the room spotless. If you choose to stay here, Saleh will undoubtedly provide you with the best service. That morning, after a long drive without eating anything, all I wanted was to check in quickly. However, I waited for over half an hour for check-in with no progress. The Trip.com customer service was very responsive and helped us resolve the issue immediately. Thank you to the curly-haired lady at the front desk who upgraded our room. I love the papyrus paintings in the room; they are exquisite and not easily found or bought in tourist areas. The room facilities are excellent and well-designed. In a limited space, everything you need is there. I could comfortably sit in front of the mirror to do my makeup and sit on the sofa to eat hotel food. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom is well done, and the lighting is good. I especially like that I can choose to turn off individual lights instead of just one master switch. However, other service staff we encountered at the hotel were quite cold. When asking for our room number at breakfast, their expressions were indifferent. Walking into the restaurant, the staff were very cold. One lady, not wanting us to sit at an un-set table, suggested we sit at a table she designated with cutlery. We still sat where we chose, and she showed impatience. For the next few days, she would just glance at us expressionless and walk away. When there was no cutlery on the table, I had to find someone to set it for me; so many staff in the restaurant saw me standing there with a need but wouldn't actively set the table. The managers in suits only asked European and American guests if they needed anything. During our four-day, three-night stay, not once did they speak to us. The front desk staff on the day of check-out were also very cold, only saying 'finished, bye bye' to me. At the other hotels we stayed at in Egypt, the staff were all very friendly, making us feel welcome and happy. So, I believe that no matter how good the hotel facilities and cleanliness are, mutual respect between people is more important. Therefore, I want to thank Mr. Saleh again and hope he encounters more appreciative guests. BTW, housekeeping staff are very busy every day, and extra requests increase their workload. A proper tip is a form of appreciation for them ❤️
