During my recent stay at this hotel, I experienced a truly remarkable level of hospitality, coupled with top-notch amenities and delectable culinary offerings. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by warm smiles and efficient service, setting the tone for a delightful stay. For breakfast, the buffet spread featured an extensive selection of both local delicacies and international favorites, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate. The à la carte options were equally impressive, with each dish expertly prepared to perfection.

From walking to leaving 4 days later the staff were brilliant, couldn't do more to please, excellent variety of choices for breakfast, along with the evening meal, all well cooked & portioned well, then again we enjoy our holidays were ever we go, if you feel the need to moan about everything you may as well stay at home, a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable

Quite an old building with squeaky floorboards and outdated decor. However, the location is spot on, just on the beach. The staff are very nice and friendly, dinner menu differs each day but a wide variety available. Offers great value for money in my opinion. Excellent for personal short stays I'll highly recommend. But won't recommend for getaways/group events.

I had an incredible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia. The hotel offers stunning views that truly capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat. The food and drink options were excellent, with a variety of delicious meals available. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in a breathtaking setting.

Me and my wife stayed at the Can-Y-Bae hotel and really loved it. The hotel is very traditional and homey. Ray and Mo were wonderful hosts and couldn’t do more. We were treated with a complimentary drink as we were staying for five days which was lovely of them. The breakfast was exceptional and always filling. Will definitely be staying again in the near future. Best Jake and Linda xx

We had a 2 night stay during the Victorian Extravaganza weekend. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel like valued guests. The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and efficient. The telephone conversations during the booking process with different members of staff were so helpful and we knew from the outset this hotel really wants to impress. The spacious hotel feels brand new. The ambience is lovely. The second floor sea view classic room was not large but well appointed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with an over bath shower. The afternoon tea was delicious. The breakfast was truly outstanding in terms of choice and quality of ingredients . The cooked breakfast was exceptional including superb cooked to order pancakes. Excellent coffee. The hotel values children. They loved the hotel and cannot wait to return. On street free parking. This is an absolute gem of a hotel. It is dog friendly but extremely clean and dogs do not use the restaurant. Unbelievable value for this quality. Highly recommended.

We just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, with something to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.

Back to Llandudno, this time for 2 nights. Stayed in this hotel for first time. Girl who checked us in really lovely and helpful and very friendly. Love this seaside town. Hotel is a listed building but had lift which is good. No aircon but manageable. Pubs very busy and lots of families enjoying good weather. Lucky to get parking close by which is free from 4 pm to 10 am next day. Plenty of options for breakfast in the Broadway Hotel. Both continental and English hot breakfast, which was lovely. Girl who served breakfast really nice too. Plenty of places to shop nearby. Friendly seagull tapping on window for food everyday!!

We stayed overnight for business and felt the whole experience was magical, in fact we wish we could have stayed longer. The Escape is as much about the personal service and individual experience as the decor, and it's nothing like travel experiences elsewhere. I've stayed in top five star hotels in Knightsbridge, but this is nothing like them and I'd rather stay here anytime! I'd describe it as being like a luxurious fluffy blanket that envelops you gently throughout your stay. The whole experience is very personal, very special and truly feels like an escape from modern life, although the individual decor is very much a part of that - we stayed in the Coastal room and loved the nautical theme. From the warm welcome from Lowri to our friendly chat with Sam the next morning, we loved every minute of being here. While it was certainly the most comfortable business trip of my working life, the next trip will definitely be for pleasure!

The location is at a crossroad and it is still a bit far away from the seaside on foot. There is a large free parking lot. The accommodation is a separate entrance behind the bar. I like the design of the spiral staircase very British style. The room is exquisite and comfortable with an old small fan. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked. They arranged for us to sit in the corner of the bar for dinner. The products were very good. I personally prefer the decoration and atmosphere of the bar. It was a very pleasant night! The breakfast on the second day is half a la carte, that is, the cold cuts are self-service and the a la carte hot food is still exquisite and delicious😋... Overall very good, especially recommended to friends who want to experience a bar-type hotel!

The hotel is not far from the beach, although it is not directly facing the beach, but you can still see the hotel facilities. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. The room has free costa coffee capsules. Milk and mineral water in the refrigerator are free 15 pounds per person. The breakfast is also very good with a sea view The price-performance ratio of this hotel is still very recommended. There are many restaurants when you go out. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the small train on Mount Ohm

Visited in school hols with partner, 2 teenagers and parents. Hotel is in a great location, minutes from the front, pier and bars/restaurants. Inside is dated but comfortable, we were on the top floor, our room had great views of the orme, and parents had partial sea views. Breakfast is very nice and has multiple options, full english, pick your choices, juice, cereal, muffins, jam etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice.

On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent,and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay

This is the best hotel I have stayed in. The staff are attentive and friendly, proactive in the way they work and very speedy; the perfect hosts. The room(Rhoda suite) was sublime. Plenty of space, with amazing views overlooking the sea and promenade. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the TV stored in the bed was a nice touch! Bathroom, as well as the whole room, was spotlessly clean. We dined in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner for the two nights we stayed. Amazing food and choice, delivered to the table with lightning speed! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and everything you could need. We also dined in the bar for lunch; great views again sat in the bay windows, and the menu was reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!

My friend and I have just returned from our second of two visits per year to Llandudno and we’d rather change our dates than stay anywhere other than Beachside. Cheryl and David the owners are a lovely approachable couple who will do everything they can to ensure your stay is a happy one. The rooms and en suites are spotless, there’s telly, free Wi-Fi a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc in the rooms and if you run out there’s more on the landing. There’s a wide choice of breakfast options including toast, cereals, yogurts, fruit, fruit juices and their cooked breakfast has plenty of choice and will definitely set you up for the day. If you’re going to Llandudno try Beachside Guest House first because as the couple I met on the landing on Wednesday told me “it’s our first time here and we will definitely be coming back” this was my twelfth visit and I won’t be going anywhere else either.

Most definitely a 5* my sister took me for a surprise 40th birthday, she couldn't have picked a better hotel, Sean is so helpful with places to visit and places to eat, great knowledge, a very warm welcome. Very nice room well thought out, Great attention to detail. I love the bottle of water on arrival, the chocolate, the room has everything you need, the bed is clean the bathroom is clean, you know you're in good hands. I loved having breakfast we sat at the window watching the birds, eating there breakfast 😆it was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. We only stayed one night. we are Definitely going again. For all the hotels iv stayed in the UK or the EU. It's the best yet. You both must be very proud! You should be. Warm friendly atmosphere and the food was brilliant. Five star dining at reasonable prices. An extra special thank you to the lovely young gentleman Matt who went above and beyond to make our visit extra special, he really was the cherry on top of an excellent visit would go again.

Stayed as part of a Charity 3 Peaks event with The Curtis Palmer Program. We arrived late, but made to feel welcome, and our 14 meals prepared without fuss. The accommodations in the chalets at the back were just luxurious, spotless, plenty of room, tea/coffee was aplenty. Beds super comfy, powerful and hot showers. Just what we needed before our climb up Snowdon the next day. Our breakfast was lovely too, plenty of tea/coffee and toast. And great Welsh Fry up.

The Royal Oak seems to have it all. Perhaps the best location in Snowdonia National Park located in Betws-y-Coed, an incredibly picturesque setting, located in a beautiful historic building, spacious rooms and an excellent on-site restaurant. That is a lot for any hotel to live up to but the Royal Oak exceeded all my expectations. First and foremost is the location. Located in charming and picturesque Betws-y-Coed and surrounded by mountains, with a cascading river across the street you simply cannot beat the setting. And there are shops and restaurants literally steps away. And since the village is located on a highway there is easy access to multiple scenic drives that traverse Snowdonia National Park. And I found Snowdonia equally as beautiful as many locations in the Highlands of Scotland. I suggest spending 3 days to get the full experience of this area of very scenic Wales. The hotel is charming and unbelievably cozy. I normally don't care all that much for hotels in historic buildings, but this was the exception. The rooms are modern enough to be very comfortable without sacrificing the historic nature of the building. I had a premium room on the 2nd floor and it was very spacious with a large poster bed, comfortable couch and side chairs and a spotlessly clean bathroom with a walk-in shower. And the windows opened allowing plenty of fresh air to enhance sleeping. The restaurant was so good I dined in every night. The food was among the best I experienced during my entire 24 day stay in the UK. And that included breakfast, with the cold buffet and cooked to order hot food items. There was also a comfortable lobby bar with plenty of comfortable chairs and tables for those wishing to play games. And a plus there was a very lively bar/pub right next door that I enjoyed a ton. And finally, the entire staff were friendly, and helpful which is always a huge plus. A five star experience in a 4 star rated hotel. You can't beat that.

My sister and I stayed in the Glan Aber for 3 nights in June with our elderly dad who has memory issues. The staff were fantastic, even from the time of booking, changing rooms etc...Dad's room was perfect..looked like it had recently been done up, we were supposed to be next door but were actually 2 doors down which was fine, our room was suitable for our needs. The showers in both rooms were brilliant...think the best we've had in a hotel..great pressure. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. The Glan Aber is ideally located in beautiful Betws-y-Coed. There is a lift in the hotel which was an extra bonus for us. Our bins were emptied during our stay, we didn't want our towels or beds changed for 3 nights but would have been nice if our tray had been emptied, but not a big issue for us and if it was we could have easily asked and known it would have been done straight away as nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The only issue we had was we, particularly dad, found the found the chairs in the dining room a bit uncomfortable so unfortunately we only ate breakfast there. Would love to see some seat pads on the chairs, especially for your elderly guests. But all in all we would recommend the Glan Aber and if we are lucky enough to get back over next year we'll definitely be booking into the Glan Aber. Oh..meant to say we thought the cost of the accommodation was also very reasonable.
