My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vivanta by Taj Shillong, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Welcome - From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. Special thanks to Mercy from the front desk for her exceptional service. Room - We were pleasantly surprised with a fantastic room upgrade to a family room, which was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The decor was minimal but functional & made us feel truly welcome. Housekeeping - We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the housekeeping team for their impeccable service. The room was always clean and tidy, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Thanks to them for all the decor for birthday celebration of my child. Restaurant - A special shout-out to the restaurant team, including Meba, Justin, Rapmica, Suman, Fadrik, Chef Ranju, and Diwakar, for making my daughter's birthday celebration so memorable. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding (One of the best Pastas i have had in a very long time) Location - The hotel's central location in Police Bazar was a huge plus, as it was within walking distance of the bazaar, nearby attractions, and the taxi stand. This made it easy for us to explore the city and enjoy all it had to offer. Final Verdict - Overall, our stay at Vivanta by Taj Shillong was exceptional. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the accommodations were top-notch, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend staying in Vivanta Shillong

I stayed in Woodstock resort it was one of my best resort Location wise Food is yummy Services are very good Whatever you ordered we get immediately Weather is so pleasant Especially I would like to Thank Ms. Tina Dewri for her wonderful service. I recommend highly to all of my friends and family to go and visit Woodstock Resort and meet the manager she was so helpful and kind hearted. Overall it was my wonderful experience if I get a chance to rate I should have rated 100 out of 100. Thank you Ms.Tina and your team for everything and lovely services We will visit again .

The hotel should be a famous hotel in the local area! However, it is incomparable with the domestic 4 star hotel. The first hotel is relatively old, and the second hotel's supplies are relatively inferior. Only the staff are still pretty good, attitude is good, only live for one day, so in addition to feeling expensive, feeling worthwhile, the mood is not too bad! One night of transition, nothing to worry about!

No Restaurant, Bad location, property not well maintained, car parking space was too short. I have stayed 2 days in the hotel in last October, 2021. But in the 1st day, I reached that hotel around 7.30pm, but they didn't inform me that they haven't any restaurant, therefore, I need to arrange food through ”Swiggy” app on that night. If we know about this, we can arrange food from outside before arrival. Please check my photographs, that showing property was not maintained perfectly.

It was a very pleasant stay in the resort. The service was fast and accurate. The care takers were very polite and helped me a lot during my stay. The food was amazing and the view was nice. Overall the whole stay was pleasant and comfortable, it's a great place for relaxation and overall it was an excellent choice

Great location, great food, clean and incredible staff. They made our stay very much comfortable and memorable. Food is really superb they have a pure vegetarian restaurant, must try their indian cuisine special dal makhani, aloo dum. Most recommended places to visit and stay in shillong.

A perfect place to stay with friends/family/couples. The property has 3 wings- heritage, forest and valley wing. We stayed in the valley wing. The rooms were small but cozy with a touch of royalty. The view of the city is amazing, especially at night, when city is all lit up. Some rooms have a balcony with is spacious and beautiful. The entire property is well maintained. It definitely provides you a feel of the historic past it beholds. They have designated breakfast and dinner areas in the different wings making sure that guests don't miss out on the heritage and royalty. Orchids and pine trees enhance its beauty. The significance of the horse shoe shaped entrance, the historic importance of different blocks, old photographs take you down the memory lane. The hospitality and food are good. Staff is very courteous. Ambience is great.It lives upto its name.

Best in shillong. But the lady manager is very cunning. Never hire hotel cab from them. They will charge you double. Other than than everything is fine. Internet here is having an issue as it connects and again gets disconnected.

We booked total 4 rooms, among those two rooms were for 3 adults. They provided extra bed for 3 pax rooms which i find very convenient. Rooms are literally giant in size, with sofa and small dine in tables and wardrobes. Some negatives that management should look after is that there was issue with the water taps in all 4 rooms, the tap was coming out in hand while operating, one of the door locks was malfunctioning. Location is a good one if anyone wants to be away from crowded market area. Car parking is also there, no need to walk with luggage. Staffs are very professional and friendly. Food is also good in their restaurant.

Absolutely worth it! We only stayed at the pear tree for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Even with one night the owner and staff made such an impression. The room is elegant (beautifully furnished) with original hardwood floors and a proper place for your luggage. We needed to arrange a driver to go to the airport, they booked us one right away. If you are coming to Shillong, this is the place to stay. The location is great, the people are incredibly friendly, and breakfast is provided. The taxi driver didn’t know how to get to it at first but the hotel staff happily got on the phone with the driver and we had no problems getting there after that. If you need any suggestions on where to go they also have great knowledge of the area and surrounding areas. We hope to come again.
