It is suitable for family. We choose tatami room, it’s a bit old. But we are ok as the price is good. Overall value for money. It come with lounge access for afternoon tea time and then happy hours at night with alcohol. The onsen is great! I will love to stay again!

Location of this hotel is excellent! Extremely easy to find - exit from the Chikushi Gate (East) at JR Hakata station and walk about 5 mins to reach the hotel. There is also a bus stop just 100 meters away (1 min walk) that you can take from the airport to reach the hotel, or from the hotel to reach the airport. Room is clean and decent size. Love the bathroom and the standing shower which has a nice rain shower, handheld shower and jacuzzi style massage shower. There’s also a bathtub for those who like to take baths. Room amenities can be obtained at hotel lobby so there is little waste - just take what you need. There is also a coffee machine that is free at the lobby. There is a self-service washing machine and dryer at level 3, level 7 and level 11. There is also a Family Mart just infront of the hotel and also a Lawson just around the corner. Great for getting late night light snacks. Overall, an excellent hotel! Highly recommended!

I had to stay an extra day in Fukuoka because my flight was cancelled due to a typhoon, so I chose Fukuoka No. 1. Overall, the room environment was great, with a balcony and ample space. The mini-bar was completely free, and the complimentary snacks were delicious. There's a communal bath, and while it's not a natural hot spring, it's still nice for a relaxing soak. The Lodge area also offered plenty of free self-service drinks and ice cream. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch, even providing a face mask for each person. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! It was a combination of à la carte mains and a buffet. I highly recommend the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and the steak! My only criticisms would be that the front desk is quite small and merges with the bar, which can get chaotic when there are many people. I also found the room price to be a bit high; comparatively, the Hotel Miyako Fukuoka offers better value for money.

Location ~ very good Room Facilities ~ very good, the room that I booked has a washing machine. Room amenities ~ not that great. Basic amenities. Hotel facilities ~ no swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, but with public bath. Hotel policy ~ very rigid. Standard check in time is 3pm which is understandable. Arrived at 2.30pm asking to check in slightly earlier but was told cannot. Then I asked the standard check out time which is before 10am. I told them I need to catch early flight so not going to stay until 10am. With that, could I proceed to check in at 2.30pm but was told still cannot. Some other hotels that I stayed in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc. are very accommodating. Some hotels in Taiwan not allowed check in early but at least they will perform the check in process, only could collect key at 3pm. However this hotel just let the guests wait at the lobby without doing anything. Finally they opened the check in counter at 2.50pm. Breakfast served at 6.30am. Told them I need to rush to airport early morning, whether I could have my breakfast slightly earlier, or pack some food for me to go airport. Again policy and practice not allowed so. Just too rigid. Not flexible. Breakfast variety okay, but not very good or excellent Would I still return next time? No, I would rather try other hotels. With that, I won't return even though the location is good.

We just wrapped up a 6-night stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Central with our toddler, and overall, it was a great experience! The Pros: · Location is unbeatable – Right in front of the station, with a designated discount car park (huge plus for drivers). · Super convenient – Literally next to a drugstore, which was a lifesaver for last-minute baby supplies and snacks. · Safe & well-lit – The hotel’s lighting made us feel secure, even when returning late. · Daily cleaning – Simple but thorough tidying up every day kept things fresh. · TV with YouTube – A lifesaver The Cons (Minor but Worth Noting): · Curtains let in too much morning light – Not great if your little one is sensitive to brightness at sunrise. · A/C struggled at night – On hot summer days, the room didn’t cool down as much as we’d hoped. · Beds were a bit firm – Not uncomfortable, but if you prefer plush mattresses, it might take getting used to. Final Verdict: Despite the small quirks, the location, safety, and family-friendly perks (hello, YouTube!) made this a solid choice. Would definitely stay again – just bring an eye mask and a portable fan if you’re a light sleeper!

Overall, the location is quite convenient. **Service & Amenities:** Special praise for the reception staff—they were proactive, polite, spoke fluent English, and explained everything clearly. The hotel also provides free amenities, including Sekkisei skincare products and bath salts, which was a lovely touch! **Room & Cleanliness:** The room is spacious enough to fully open 2 to 3 suitcases. I especially loved the large, clean bathroom with its separate wet and dry areas. Housekeeping did a great job—just make sure to put your request magnet/card on the door before 10 AM. **Breakfast:** The food was decent, featuring salads, bread, omelets, sukiyaki, seafood bowls, French toast, and even free-flow wine. Some items require ordering directly from the chef, which caused a bit of a rush due to the crowds, but the staff tried their best to help. The bed was clean and comfortable, with fresh linens provided daily. A secure locker was available for small luggage, while larger bags could be stored at the front desk. Guests were considerate, and the noise level was low enough for restful sleep. I especially liked the ventilation hole near the bed, which blew cool air directly across — it kept the cabin fresh and ensured I never felt hot while sleeping. Food The hotel itself does not serve meals, but there is an optional breakfast plan with St. Marc Café nearby. Otherwise, Tenjin’s dining scene is right outside — ramen shops, izakayas, and cafés are all within walking distance, making food choices easy and varied. Amenities Facilities are practical and well‑maintained. Showers were clean, with steady hot water and complimentary toiletries. Towels and indoor wear were provided, while toothbrushes, razors, slippers, and extra towels were available at a small fee. Wi‑Fi was reliable throughout the property. The shared lounge had desks, outlets, vending machines, a microwave, and even a manga library. Coin laundry machines were available, making longer stays convenient. Staff were polite and efficient. Atmosphere The semi‑private cabin design gave a homely feel compared to standard capsules. The interiors were tidy and modern, with thoughtful touches like privacy curtains, individual controls, and the cooling airflow from the ventilation system. Common areas were clean and functional, with a relaxed vibe in the lounge. Location Situated in central Tenjin, the property is right in Fukuoka’s shopping and entertainment hub. Transport connections are excellent: Tenjin South Station is just 2 minutes’ walk, Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station 4 minutes, Hakata Station 15 minutes by train, and Fukuoka Airport about 22 minutes. Shops, restaurants, and nightlife are all steps away. Overall Wellcabin Tenjin is affordable, clean, and practical for solo male travellers. The semi‑private cabins provide more comfort and privacy than capsules, with tidy facilities, reliable amenities, and even laundry options for convenience. Downsides are the men‑only restriction and the fact that some items like toothbrushes, slippers, and extra towels are not free. Overall, it’s a strong choice for budget‑minded travellers who want privacy, convenience, and a cool, comfortable sleep in the heart of Fukuoka.

Stayed at Hotel Oriental Fukuoka Tenjin and it was such a great choice! The location is super convenient—just a 2-minute walk to the subway entrance, making it easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, with Yoshinoya, Matsuya, and even Shin Shin just around the corner. Service was consistently good, and the room was very comfortable. I especially loved the pillows and bed—perfect for resting after a long day of exploring. A nice touch was that they provided nightwear, which I didn’t bring, so that was really convenient. Breakfast had a great spread with lots of options to choose from, making mornings something to look forward to. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay in a prime location!

The hotel itself is as advertised. The lobby is definitely large for a Japanese hotel, and the room size was decent. However, the bathroom had a strange odor, possibly from the pipes, and this was an issue for both nights of our stay. But, to be fair, the overall service standard was excellent. On the second day, I forgot to put out the 'clean my room' sign, but the hotel thoughtfully left fresh towels and water outside our door, showing great respect for privacy, which I really appreciated!

Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient. Would stay again!
