Very nice hotel. Although it's not in the centre of Tokyo, it's very well connected. Direct train to Shibuya, Shinjuku, ikebukuro and so on. Good local amenities, two main supermarkets (one opened 24 hours), Seria (¥100 shop) and so on. For the people who need to do big shopping, Uniqlo is just downstairs, the pharmacy nearby is such a hit with the bargain price we have never seen anywhere within Tokyo. The room is tiny but efficient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We usually stay in Asakusa Tobu hotel when we come to Japan but it's getting too pricey now. I'd say Wako Tobu is just as good. Will definitely stay here again!
This is an excellent hotel with great service, cleanliness, and facilities! The location is particularly fantastic, right across from the pedestrian street, and only about a 10-minute walk to Kawagoe's old town. Next to the hotel is Hon-Kawagoe Station, and the JR station is also a 10-minute walk away, with bus connections between the two. One thing to note is that Hon-Kawagoe Station doesn't have many lines; some connect to JR, but you can only buy tickets for the current line. Any additional fare needed must be paid at the final station.
We were staying with a family of three. They don't have triple rooms, so the room is split into two. Even with two rooms, the price is still reasonable.
The rooms are mostly flat and well-maintained.
Close to Honjo-Waseda Station, free parking, a large public bath (with a Dyson hair dryer), laundry facilities, a microwave, free tea (coffee and apple cider vinegar drinks are also available until 10:00 PM), amenities, and samue-style pajamas are available for personal selection at the front desk (you can choose between memory foam and marshmallow pillows, subject to restrictions), and more. There's a large supermarket and laundry next door, as well as a delicious bakery, family restaurant, and convenience store nearby, making it incredibly convenient.
The front desk staff are all very kind and cheerful.
My only complaint is that the walls are thin, so you can often hear noises from the neighboring rooms (earplugs are provided, which is unusual). The lockers in the changing room by the public bath don't have locks. I haven't booked a room with breakfast yet, so I'd like to try that next time.
It's really close to the station, only 10 meters away.
I saw crowds at the station this morning, and the sunrise was quite beautiful.
Convenient transportation, and there's a convenience store next door.
You can enjoy a hot spring bath on the first floor, and they give you a complimentary bowl of ramen.
I'll definitely come again.
I always use this hotel. The rooms are always cleaned, and although it depends on the time of day you use the large public bath, you can use it without it being crowded and you can relax. The free breakfast is also delicious and satisfying. The parking lot is large and easy to park in, and there are convenience stores nearby, so it's easy to go shopping. The staff are always very friendly, making it a comfortable hotel to stay at. It's a hotel I would definitely like to visit again.
Comfort roof top hot spring, great breakfast and very good bed that give you a good sleep. The hotel is shorter than nearby hotel, some room do not have view. Many people stay in sat and sun, only have one hour time slot for breakfast. Overall, good experience and would stay again.
I stayed here for one night due to some urgent business. The room wasn't very large, but it was very reasonably priced, so I thought, ”For a stay at this price, everything is within the realm of possibility.”
I could tell that the building was a little old, but there were no particular issues. Although it didn't bother me, my companion, who is sensitive to smells, said, ”The bathroom curtains smelled damp and it was awful...”
Oh, and we booked the breakfast option, which was just the right amount and tasted just like a typical Japanese breakfast.
There was an air purifier, but when I filled it with water, the drain was broken and it couldn't humidify.
There were quite a few scratches inside the toilet bowl that appeared to have been made during cleaning, and at first I mistook it for dirt; they looked like they were made by rubbing with a metal scrubbing pad. It looks bad so I think it needs to be repaired.
The location and view are good, so it's fine for business use.
Breakfast was also decent.
Arrived late at night from Haneda, so I decided to stay overnight in Kawagoe before heading to Karuizawa the next day. The hotel is very new, clean, and well-equipped. Although the room isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate. It's not far from Kawagoe's Little Edo, making it convenient to grab a bite at the shopping street late at night and explore the area the next morning. There are also two convenience stores downstairs, which is very handy!
There are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, making it very convenient.
Parking was only 500 yen, which is cheap for a place in front of the station, and I was able to leave and enter after checking in, which was very helpful!
Very Good

GGuest User4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.
JJake TongThe hotel is beautiful. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Staffs are attentive and friendly. It is very clean and spacious. with around 10 mins walk to Saitama shintoshin station. it connected to shopping center, supermarket and movie theater. Great choice if you are looking for staying away from the loud and busy city.
GGuest UserHighly recommend!
We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces.
Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste.
One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time!
Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.
GGuest UserI always use this hotel whenever I go on a business trip. The sleeping area is always clean and tidy. The bath is never too crowded, so I can use it whenever I want.
I wish there were more reclining seats in the rest area and more seats in the telework booths, and the capsules tend to get a little hotter, but overall it's clean and I'm able to stay comfortably.

ААлексей КлимовскийThis was our first time in Japan and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's a bit far from central Tokyo, but it's right next to a JR station.
The room was clean and offered daily housekeeping, but we didn't need it.
The water bottles in the room were replenished regularly. However, there was no cooler with clean water for us to fill up ourselves.
The staff was friendly and spoke some English.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of local and European dishes. Juices, coffee, fruit, and other items were available.
This hotel set a high bar for us and our future hotels.
嵐嵐月ちゃんWe used our navigation system, but as the road is heavily traveled by trucks, the entrance can be difficult to see behind a large vehicle, so it may be difficult for first-time visitors to find. In fact, we ended up driving right past it. Since we had contacted them in advance, my mother, who has trouble walking, was able to borrow a wheelchair straight away. For dinner, we enjoyed a leisurely meal made with local ingredients in a private room. It was delicious. The inn staff were all very kind.
The large public bath is closed during cleaning hours and cannot be used late at night (11pm-12am). However, our room had an open-air bath, so we were able to bathe whenever we wanted.
I've been to many hot springs, but the soft, comfortable feeling when I soak in the water is what makes Chichibu's hot springs my favorite.
HHOTMANThe customer service of all the staff was very polite and kind.
The meals are warm and delicious, such as meat and potatoes, stews, rice, and bread, and I would definitely come back again.
Wwxy3393Watching the ice show at Saitama Super Arena opposite.
After the show, you can see it by walking across the overpass.
The front desk directly checked in with the passport and got the room card.
The single room is quite spacious, well-equipped, and clean.
The TV displays the buffet breakfast information, WIFI password and other check-in information.
The buffet breakfast on the second day has Saitama's special colorful rice.
I am greedy for rice, so I finished two bowls in the morning 😂
It was a good stay experience. I will stay again next time I come to see the show.
