C Mauritius - All Inclusive

We have just arrived home after an amazing 11 night stay at C Mauritius, we didn’t want to leave. It was our first time in Mauritius and we booked 3 rooms to celebrate special birthdays. The staff were exceptional, they looked after our every need from the moment we arrived. I would say it’s the best all inclusive hotel that we have ever stayed in. The main reasons being the fantastic customer service and the quality and variety of food and drink options. I have never seen such an extensive wine list and drinks included as part of an AI package. The food was all freshly prepared, flavoursome and there was always plenty of variety, we were literally spoilt for choice. Thank you to Deepak, the Sommelier and the rest of the team for looking after us so attentively and for sharing their suggestions for wines to go with the food in the evenings. This attention to detail really enhanced our experience and made the whole dining experience more enjoyable. The restaurant manager Nitesh even arranged a special traditional Mauritian lunch for us on our last day, which was prepared by one of their talented chef’s Coumaran. This is just one example of how the staff made our holiday so special. The bar staff were all lovely and were happy to prepare our favourite cocktails and Irish coffees, even if they weren’t on the official drinks list. Special mention to Priya, Moon and Krishna, who served us on regular occasions and always greeted us with a smile and shared a joke or two. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location with a pristine beach, infinity pools and lots of water activities on offer, which are mostly included in the AI package. There is also a spa, which can be booked for private groups of up to 6 people, which had stunning views and was incredibly relaxing. One of our highlights of the holiday was the excursions, organised by Danny Danny and the hotel’s taxi service. We toured the North and South of the island on separate days by minivan and also did the 5 island speedboat tour, which was just amazing and great value for money. All in all we had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius. We look forward to returning.

Belle Mare
The breakfast was very rich and the room was very new. We called for two bottles of water on WeChat at 8:30 in the evening and also called the front desk twice. The water never came. A little disappointed. The hotel is not big, the beach is public and can go all the way to the end. The spa is good and the Chinese service is great. We also ordered a New Year's meal and that grouper fillet was quite delicious!

Very nice apartments, with kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and one or two balconies. Super view of the coast and the green surroundings. Located a little away, but with a car rental everything is very good to reach. Very good breakfast, super nice owner and friendly staff. You feel associated with it. Beautiful large pool and a beautiful garden leave here feeling of quiet and holiday. I'm glad to come back
Laguna Beach Hotel & Spa

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Laguna Beach and found it to be great value on All Inclusive. Sea view double rooms were of a reasonable size, comfortable with attractive bamboo furnishing and well insulated for noise. Food was exceptionally good - a really wide choice of tasty dishes that were changing every day, the local fish being particularly delicious for me. Pancakes in the afternoon became an essential part of the daily routine. The waiters and staff in general are so friendly and helpful, I could not fault them in any way. In fact, the friendly atmosphere at Laguna Beach is one of their strongest assets, as is the local rum! All the drinks you get on the All Inclusive are very good quality, including the cocktails - I couldn't get enough of the Daiquiris. There are a few evening entertainments run by the excellent Kevin,  like a local dance troupe and a very fun karaoke, but this isn't on a daily basis, so isn't too much. Water sports are available and I recommend the views from the parasailing. We did lots of trips from Laguna Beach all over the island and found it to be an excellent base for exploration. I particularly recommend doing a catamaran trip on the West coast - this was idyllic, we got to see dolphins and a family of ***** whales!  A guided tour around the tiny eco island of Ile Aux Aigrettes is a must - I won't forget the giant turtles ... Mauritius is also a hiker's paradise and this is something I wish I had more time for. The scenery and views from Black River Gorges National Park is something special. I do recommend hiring taxi drivers for a day or half day instead of driving yourself - best have someone who knows where all the bad road surfaces are and traffic in some areas can be a bit hectic at rush hours. Some of the drivers have excellent local and historical knowledge, and can act as your guide, not just a driver. There are a few things to be aware of when considering a stay here. It's on the more remote South East side of the island. If you want tourist shops, bars and nightlife then head to the North - this resort is more about peace and quiet. Saying that there is a constant soundtrack of music in the pool / bar area that I could have done without in the daytime, or just turn the volume down a bit.  Being on the East it can get windy, especially in the evening but this was rarely an issue for us.  If you want your hotel to have an amazing beach you should consider an alternative - the section of the beach cordoned off here is very small and everyone used the lovely infinity pool instead.

The hotel is very good, clean and beautiful, cost-effective. Fortunately, it is for breakfast and dinner. If you don’t want to go out, there isn’t even a small convenience store. It’s not a bad location. It’s really not a tourist tour in Mauritius. It is best to bring more snacks yourself, otherwise you can only blink.

Everything was amazing. Paradise island. Fabulous food especially in the Italian restaurant Dolce Vita. Kenny and his colleagues ensured we had the best service. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you to make our holiday perfect. All the staff, deserve a mention because they were all great, Receptionists, porters, waiters, cleaners, and DJ. On the first day my partner broke his glasses and the porter had them repaired by the maintenance staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel even had a medical Centre on site, which I needed to attend. I was seen by a male nurse immediately and he referred me to Dr Hujjaree. I was treated exceptionally well and the care and attention I received was above and beyond my expectations, so a huge thank you to him and his team for looking after me during my stay.
