My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The experience started smoothly even before check-in. We had arrived in Malé late the night before, and the Hard Rock team contacted and coordinated directly with the hotel we were staying at, making our transfer to the resort very easy and stress-free. All of the staff we met were friendly, polite, and welcoming. As an Accor Diamond member, I had originally considered staying at the Pullman or Sofitel, but after researching the different resorts, we felt that Hard Rock offered the experience that suited us best—and we were very happy with that decision. One of the biggest surprises was just how much there was to do. The resort offered many complimentary activities, entertainment, and shows. We first met one of the instructors, Pensi, during another dinner/show, and because she was so friendly and enthusiastic, we decided to join her hammock/silks class. It ended up being a lot of fun. She also performed in her own show the following day, which was amazing and became one of the highlights of our stay. My wife and I are not really into water sports, but we decided to try kayaking and were very glad we did. It gave us some beautiful views of the resort and surrounding water, as well as some great photos. Cycling between the connected islands was another simple activity that turned out to be surprisingly memorable and gave us some amazing photo opportunities along the way. Breakfast had a huge selection and everything we tried tasted great. We also ordered in-room dining, which was very easy through the resort's dedicated app. Getting around was simple as well. We could book a buggy through the app or use the bicycles that were available around the island. We stayed in a Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, and the room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could watch the sunrise from our private pool and also step directly from the villa into the ocean below. It was exactly the kind of Maldives experience we had imagined. We came expecting beautiful scenery, clear water, and amazing photos and videos, and Hard Rock certainly delivered all of that. What we did not expect was how much the activities, recreation, entertainment, and shows would add to the experience. They made the stay much more enjoyable and memorable than simply staying at a beautiful resort. We also appreciated seeing the resort manager attend Pensi's show and personally speak with guests. It gave us the impression that the management team genuinely makes an effort to engage with guests, listen to feedback, and make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives gave us everything we had hoped for from our Maldives trip, plus much more than we expected. We would be very happy to stay again.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Without question, this is the best-value Maldivian resort we have ever visited. We've stayed at several resorts in the Maldives, and none have managed to combine luxury, efficiency, quality and value quite like this. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. Check-in was seamless, and throughout our stay the team consistently thought two steps ahead, ensuring that arrivals, bookings, activities and departure arrangements were all perfectly coordinated. We never once felt stressed or had to waste time waiting for anything. The Dusit Gold app was exceptionally responsive and useful, making the entire experience smooth and effortless. Our villa was spotless, and housekeeping was outstanding. Turnover and turndown service were always completed perfectly and punctually. Every detail in the room worked flawlessly — from the coffee machine and hot water to the bathtub, water pressure and lighting. Nothing was faulty, which is surprisingly rare even at luxury resorts. The food was genuinely some of the best we have experienced in the Maldives, with authentic flavours and a huge selection of food and drinks included in the all-inclusive package. What impressed us most was that the resort never cut corners. Unlike some resorts that can be stingy with portions or beverage quality, here they provide the full wholesome experience. Drinks were always generously poured and promptly refilled, and there was an excellent variety of restaurants open simultaneously for dinner, giving plenty of choice each evening. Special thanks to Mohamed and the wonderful Barcelonian dive instructor, who were incredibly kind, professional and personable. They even remembered us by name before we had arrived at the dive centre, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The management team was equally impressive — professional, attentive and seemingly never saying no to any request. The spa treatments were excellent, especially the Thai massage by the Bhutanese therapist, and we also enjoyed one of the best deep tissue massages from the personal trainer at the gym. Prices for activities, spa treatments and extras were all very fair and represented excellent value. Despite being close to Malé, the marine life was thriving and abundant. The water was crystal clear, peaceful and free from noise pollution. We were pleasantly surprised by how lush and vibrant the underwater environment was. Another thing we appreciated was the sense of space. There was never any need to fight for sun loungers, cabanas or tables. Everything felt spacious and relaxed. Families are also exceptionally well catered for, with both a kids' club and a teens' club — something that is surprisingly rare. For travellers who want to maximize their time in the Maldives and avoid spending hours on seaplane transfers, this resort is an absolute gem. The convenience of being close to Malé combined with such a luxurious atmosphere is hard to beat. Overall, this has been the most value-for-money yet genuinely luxurious resort we have ever experienced. Exceptional service, outstanding food, thoughtful management, and a team that consistently goes above and beyond make this a place we would return to without hesitation. Will definitely be back.

This hotel is very new, the family room was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hot water was consistently strong and never ran out. The hotel restaurant's food was incredibly delicious. We stayed for several days and ended up having breakfast, lunch, and even dinner there every single day. The chefs put a lot of care into preparing every ingredient, making everything taste amazing. Next time, I'll definitely come back to this beautiful island. The nearby ocean is incredibly clear, and the beach has stunning white sand and cool, crystal-clear water with tons of fish swimming around. To get such high quality for such an affordable price is truly outstanding. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Maldives – you get incredible quality for a low price, 100 out of 100!

Excellent hotel with top-notch service. I stayed in a suite and was impressed with the amenities: slippers, shower caps, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, a shaving kit, hairdryer, iron, and they even brought an extra blanket – I really appreciated that! The sea view was stunning, and everything felt new and clean. We also tried the Balinese massage at the spa, which was amazing – the girls did a fantastic job! We didn't want to leave; we loved everything: the beach, the food, and the friendly atmosphere. We visited 5 islands and only stayed one day here, deciding to take a trip to Gili. We didn't want to leave, and if we could redo our trip, we would allocate more days for this hotel. It felt just like home, thank you! And most importantly, there's a bikini beach, which was a welcome relief from having to wear clothes all the time. Highly recommend!!!!

The front desk staff member in the picture was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. He picked us up and dropped us off, and even helped with our luggage. Tips were optional. The only downside was the lack of a balcony, so we ended up hanging our clothes in the hallway. Asking him to book speedboats and excursions saved us money compared to booking outside, and he was very responsible. On the day we left, we had an early flight, and he even packed us breakfast to take to the airport. He also helped us exchange money at a better rate than elsewhere. The accommodation itself was also quite affordable. You can bring your own disposable toiletries. Overall, I highly recommend it. Great value for money.

The place is as clean as the reviews here, the staff are superb, and the food also is delicious. Roos was ok, and everything is better. Normally I don’t do reviews, but this place made me.

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home.
