Family-friendly Hotels in Shaanxi, China

We booked a hotel over looking the city wall and we only paid $60 AUD but we got a beautiful room with breakfast included. I could not fault this hotel, the staff are so nice, they gave us welcome snacks and also gave us snacks to take with us after we checked out. There is a convenience store located downstairs and a metro station located nearby. We used didi pretty much all the time and was easy to locate this location when typing Chang an residence. Highly recommend this place!

A five star rating for a local three star hotel. Everything was good from the hotel location which is within 2 km from Bell and Drum Towers. Staff were friendly especially the kitchen's chefs who packed breakfasts for us on the day we went on an early excursion to the Terracotta Warrior sites. The hotel has good amenities: It is surrounded by food and convenience stores and even a supermarket. The washing machines and heaters are really helpful as my family were staying there for a week so clean laundry was definitely a plus The housecleaning service is also prompt and helpful whenever we have additional requests. The only negative is the wifi connection which went off intermittently. Oddly this issue only happened on our mobile phones while it worked ok for my laptop.

Our stay at Hesu Designer Hotel was absolutely lovely! The hotel is beautiful, with a great location near the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and friendly, going out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to the front desk team and to Xiao Wang, who assisted us throughout our stay. The team made us feel so welcome, always offering us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. At the end of our stay, they even surprised us with a lovely gift (picture). The hotel also provided fantastic recommendations for attractions and restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an!

There are multiple exits from Zhonglou station. I tried exit B，exit 9 and exit 1. All of them are similar walking distance towards the hotel. The hotel is located on the “ground” level, underground level are made up of souvenir/drinks/snacks stores which you can easily access via a short staircase. The hotel is in between a row of little local shops. The easiest way to navigate is download Baidu maps and enter 宜必思尚品酒店(西安钟鼓楼回民街店) 西安市莲湖区. A public square right under the hotel comes to life from morning to evening with people setting up little stalls with a mat/stools selling little souvenirs. There are also multiple message therapists providing their service for just 20yuan. Super convenient to reach the Drum tower just by 1mjns of walking, it is right there when you step out. Muslim quarter is 2mins away, while convenient avoid the main street like plaque. If you see roujiamo stalls with oddly long queue when everyone else is nonexistent, those are fake queuers engaged to fool tourists

The location is good and nearby to a lot of attraction, walkable, the service is also good where suitable for stay if you come to Xian. Near to a lot of eatery place and even arrived after mid night there are still stalls around to have quick bites.

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. They served delivious breakfast with a good variety. The location of the hotel was good, easy access to the Muslim Quarter, Bell Tower, shopping malls and train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were restaurants and shops outside, both at the right and left of the hotel. There is one pastry shop at Lian Hu Lu selling freshly baked and delicious pastries. It is a must try. The staff of the shop were friendly too. The people we met in Xi'an were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed directions. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time in Xi'an.

I was going to give this hotel a very high rate cause the customer service I was in touch was very reliable, typed in English and helped me to get a shuttle bus. The problem was that the shuttle bus has no space for luggages. Which kind of defeats the purpose since this is a hotel that is used for airport transfers which means everyone is going to have lots of luggages. So there is no space to seat and is very dangerous as well to have all these bags in the middle of the way inside the shuttle bus. Either you have a bigger bus or two shuttle bus, but it is not safe the way they do it. Also we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast cause we had to take the shuttle bus at 5:30am.

Hotel looks very grand. Only problem i had was with room being too warm as no air-conditioning. Room had a window but it appears to be too small for any wind to be felt while inside the room. Fortunately I was there for 2 nights only and will be sure to keep a look out next time if no-airconditioning is offered again. Thank you for the service and hospitality.

When I booked the hotel, I just wanted a clean, value for money with a good location hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights in Dec 2024 at CNY425 per room per night, inclusive of daily breakfast and high tea. Food: Simple breakfast and high tea, but good enough to warm our stomach to start our day. Coffee was better than expected (I thought it would be 3 in 1 type), the breakfast consist of fruits, salad, noodles, rice, porridge, bread, etc. Tea break has some simple snacks like portuguese egg tarts, mochi, mini cakes, cookies, fruits, chinese tea and coffee. Room: There were no connecting rooms, but we were allocated nearby rooms. We had clean white towel and sheets. The toilet and sink were clean, but if you're staying with friends it's a bit inconvenient due to lack of privacy. Although there are doors for the individual toilet and shower stalls, it would be better to have another door at the entrance to the changing area just before we enter the shower stall. This is a minor issue as we are more conservative. Tour bookings: The hotel has staff that assist with daily tour bookings, thus it was very convenient. We booked our day trip to the Terracotta Warrior and the coach came to pick us up at the hotel. I would suggest that you spend the extra CNY 298 per pax to watch the performance, it was worth it. Overall we had good night rest and enjoyed the stay. Thank you again to the hotel for exceeding our expectation.

It’s clean, spacious and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable. • We originally booked 4 nights at Yunheyebo, but we were so impressed after our first 2 days, that we cancelled our booking at Ritz Carlton and rebooked with Yunheyebo for another 6 extra nights. (Pictures are of the executive deluxe family room.) • We had a smooth check-in experience despite it being 3am when we arrived. • Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. They cleaned our rooms everyday, and had free laundry service. Hygiene is really important to us - we were happy at the beautiful design of the room and the CLEANLINESS of everything. • The hotel is new and it’s not just nice in appearances. It’s not a refurbished hotel, the entire building felt new. The decor was tasteful and elegant. • Fantastic location - It’s a few hundred metres from 文昌门 Wenchang Gate, very convenient to visit the ancient city walls. After staying in Xi A for over a week, I don’t particularly recommend staying within the ancient city walls because of the traffic congestion. Yunheyebo was right outside the wall, was walking distance from the most important gate and an excellent base for travel - we avoided many traffic jams here. • Ease of transport - the 永宁门 Yongningmen metro station is a 800m walk away. Private hire didis arrive within 1-2 mins! • Outstanding attention detail from the housekeeping staff - they noticed that we were guzzling down so much water, that they increased the number of bottles of water they gave us (completely free of charge), and this escalated till we were given an entire carton of bottled water on our 4th or 5th day there 😹 Gave us a good laugh, but we are very grateful to the housekeeping staff who took care of Room #10-26 from 1 Sep to 8 Sep 2024. • We received a nice welcome box of desserts, fruits and snacks! I thought a welcome gift would only be given once, but it was refilled everyday! • special shoutout to 盼儿 Pan Er, for the outstanding service throughout our trip. She was extremely responsive and helpful - reminded us that there was free dessert in the evenings, helped us arrange late check out (this was off-peak season so we were in luck, i don’t know if this is possible during the peak period!!), helped us save some dessert when we were out late, etc. Once, I left my hat in a private-hire vehicle, and the driver was coming to the hotel to deliver it while I was not in. 盼儿 Pan Er helped ensure that my hat was sent straight to my room. Thank you again for being so contactable and helpful throughout our trip! • We originally booked for 1-4 Sep, but ended up staying 1-8 Sep and 11-12 Sep. The young lady working at the concierge on 2 Sep at 11pm to midnight was the biggest reason we extended our stay at this hotel. She definitely convinced us. I wish I knew her name, but thank you for making our trip that much better! • The free airport drop off was very much appreciated, it took the stress of planning an additional item off our shoulders. • Service from all the staff in the hotel was impeccable - from the attendants standing around the lobby, to the bellboys, to the 24/7 concierge, to the housekeeping, to the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I’m not disclosing the perks and benefits we got during our trip because I don’t want to set them up for unrealistic expectations 😹 But the staff at this hotel was really extremely nice, accommodating and helpful to all of our requests. • Definitely stay longer so you can explore Xi An at your own pace. Took a second to place the lobby (it’s really just elevators), as soon as I got up to Reception I was very impressed. It’s gorgeous, it smells nice, my room was beautiful with an even better view. The location was why I booked this hotel. A perfect spot within walking distance to many city sights. All the extra bundles were worth it, too, highly recommend the late night noodles. And the staff were very friendly: 小徐 (Xiao Xu) and 小胡 (Xiao Hu). My Chinese isn’t the best, but a translator app is all you need.

The hotel was super clean. OMG you would not believe how clean it was. The hotel staff was super nice and even though they were not able to speak in English, they still made sure that our stay was as comfortable as it can be. And the restaurant near by was so nice and so sweet. We had flight at 9 am so we had to leave early, and so they had a bus to the airport. And had the breakfast in to-go box so that we can enjoy it in the bus or at the airport. Overall, definitely recommend. It is a must stay hotel if you want to rest and enjoy your time.

Stayed here for one night and was very impressed for the price and the services that provided. Front desk staff are friendly and professional. The room size is just as the website indicated. The bed is hard but very comfortable. Pillows are soft and fluffy. Bath towels are liked new. The laundry room equipped with 4 sets of LG washers and dryers. Laundry detergent and fabrics softeners are also provided. Breakfast was exceptional; many choices to choose from. Location is remoted. This hotel is great for airport transfer. They offered airport pickup or drop off.

My husband and I, two elderlies, stayed for two nights in this hotel after we completed a 10-day tour with our friends in Xian and Xianyang, cos we had failed to book the direct flight back to Hong Kong on the day the tour ended. We chose this hotel simply because at time of booking we knew not if there was anymore place in Xian for us to go after our tour, hence we thought the hotel's free shuttle service to the airport would be beneficial to us, plus the hotel rate was attractive. In the end it is truly unexpected that with only around HKD830 we paid for two nights, we had come to a hotel with such good amenities and services provided ! The hotel is located in a newly developed district, about 10 mins drive from the airport. Its location is not attractive, but the small community nearby offers banking service, a small supermarket and sufficient choices of small eating venues. The hotel lobby is stylishly furnished, the hotel room is clean and newly furbished, and the bathroom amenities are excellent (with electronic bidet installed). The free buffet breakfast is good with choices of freshly prepared noodles as ordered. A cup of Americano can be picked up from the Reception free of charge at anytime of the day. In the evening the hotel also offers a simple light meal which can be brought up to the room for enjoyment. On our second day of stay, we chose to go to Dayan Pagoda which we hadn't been visited in our group tour. The staff was so very helpful as in providing us with all the directions in WeChat how we could travel by underground from airport to go there, and thereafter how we could contact them from airport for their pickup service on our return (on the condition that we had no local phone number and no wifi installed in our mobiles!). All in all we are truly grateful to all the staff, including the driver, who had helped us so much during our stay in this small lovely hotel. It is truly a good hotel in terms of its value!

Amazing hotel. We booked the largest queen room. It was very spacious and provided a very nice rest before we took off again. We stayed for two nights in total, and wish we could have stayed longer. Within a 5 minute car ride away, you can experience local food and get a nice foot massage. In addition to the amazing room, the staff was extremely helpful as well. The front desk assistant with glasses was very helpful and made our trip very smooth and peaceful. Morning breakfast was great as well. The noodle soup was great, and a nice taste of Xi'an noodles, if you aren't able to explore more. Highly recommend.

I stay at this hotel every year when I take my kids home to visit relatives. I have been staying here since before the epidemic, and it has been three years in a row. The reason for choosing this place is that the room is large and the sanitary facilities are good. It is next to Wanda Plaza and Chaoshi Lane. There is also a row of small shops on the opposite side of the street, which provides a one-stop service for eating, drinking and having fun. During the May Day holiday, the room type was upgraded for free. It has almost become my second home in Xianyang. There is also a minibar for free drinks. Bingfeng is so refreshing.

Because this was the first time I took my baby away from home to play, there were old people and children, and the baby now takes two to three naps during the day and stays in hotels for a long time, so I compared the surrounding B&Bs and hotels and finally decided on this one. The family suite at home feels good overall in terms of room hygiene and small courtyard environment. The overall building also conforms to the saying that half of the house is built. It is very unique. The boss and his wife are also enthusiastic. The recommended yellow spicy diced food tastes good. , stayed for two nights, took the kids to visit Yuanjia Village in the morning and evening, the pace was not fast, recommended

The hotel front desk is very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. The guest rooms are in good condition. Many facilities in the room are automated and can be reached with one click. The hotel's services are quite satisfactory. There are many choices of hot springs, which are clean and hygienic. I especially praise the housekeeper Ma Qiaorong, who is attentive and thoughtful and answers all questions. I will choose here again if I have the chance in the future.

The room is relatively large, and Xiao Yang's service is also very good. If you need anything, it will be delivered to your door. It is very convenient to the subway and bus. The room you booked also comes with breakfast. Parking is convenient. It is a very satisfying stay. I am very satisfied! I’ll choose the Boyd Hotel next time I come!

A Perfect Stay for Mount Huashan Adventure My stay at Gomo Hotel near the Mount Huashan Scenic Area Visitor Center was exceptional. The highlight was the invaluable assistance in planning my day trip to Mount Huashan, which turned out to be an incredible adventure thanks to Nini's help. Convenient Services The hotel offers convenient pick-up services from the station and the starting point of the hike, making logistics a breeze. Outstanding Hospitality Despite my late arrival, Nini showcased extraordinary hospitality. She prepared delicious food and ensured I felt welcome and comfortable. Effective Communication Communication was smooth throughout my stay. We used translation apps when necessary, which worked perfectly to overcome any language barriers. Highly Recommended I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to climb Mount Huashan. The convenient location, helpful staff, and excellent service make it an ideal choice for visitors to the area. Gomo Hotel truly enhanced my Mount Huashan experience, and I'm grateful for their support in making my trip memorable.

The room is neat and clean. The building we live in has an elevator, which is great news for us who have just climbed Huashan Mountain. The B&B provides round-trip transfers to Huashan North Station and scenic spots, and assists in ordering tickets. The hotel has considerate service; the attached restaurant is convenient for solving problems. Dining question° In short, it is a good choice to stop and stop here when you come to climb Huashan Mountain!

This place is run by a very kind couple, they will take care of you fully through your entire stay in Huayin town! We visited Huayin to hike Huashan, and apart from taking a taxi to the guesthouse, all transport was provided by the boss - he drove us to the visitors centre for starting the hike, even coming to pick us when the ticket booth wasn’t open (Chinese public holiday) and drove us to the main visitor centre, and then he drove us to the train station on our last day. The lady boss helped to buy cableway tickets ahead of our hike so we wouldn’t have to queue. We also ate all meals here, as the food is great! The guesthouse is located in a small village at the foot of the mountain, a short walk from a small ticket booth for park tickets (only locals can buy Huashan tickets on WeChat, foreigners need to buy them in person). This ticket counter is closed on public holidays (no signs or announcements, we just bumped into some park staff who told us), so you will need to go to the main visitors centre (about 3 mins drive). You should download WeChat to communicate with the guesthouse - we messaged them and they helped to figure out what was going on, and sent a car to come get us. After descending from the mountain you may message them for pick up, but we chose to walk back to the guesthouse from the visitors centre (~10mins). It is really remote, there’s nothing much to do in the area apart from admire the views, but this is also precisely why this place is so lovely!

This may be the best hotel in Huayin City. The room is nice. The front desk lady has a sweet smile and a friendly attitude. She showed me the delicious and fun places in Huayin City. She also upgraded me to a superior king-size bed room for free. There is a guest room with a return tour route. There is a large supermarket downstairs. There are also many restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is located in the center of Huayin City and is not far from anywhere. In addition to these, I need to thank the hotel a little bit! Because of my planning error, the time of going down the mountain from north to west was later than expected, and I might not catch up with the high-speed train returning at night. When I asked the hotel for help, the hotel responded positively and helped. The hotel arranged a driver to take my stored luggage to the tourist center, so that I could get off the bus and take a car directly to the high-speed rail station. Finally, I caught up with the return high-speed rail. I believe that if it weren't for the help of the hotel, it would be difficult for me to catch this high-speed train. Thank you again!

Service from the heart. From picking us up from the train station, to helping us to sort out tickets for huashan; and also to even sending us to the tourist centre, to board the bus to transport us up the mountain. Best to ask them which route to take up the mountain, as they would be able to advise, based on how much of a climb you want. With their suggestion, we went by the easier West peak. In short, they have made all efforts to make our stay so pleasant, and as much as possible, a seamless one, when it comes to arranging things. They even had gone as far as sorting out transportation to Xi'an for us, and had even walked us through a few options. We took the room with the king-sized bed with the balcony on the second floor, which gives a good view of the mountain. Picture enclosed is the lovely view we got to the right of the balcony. The hotel is literally meters (a very short walk) from the first return stop, the mountain tour bus will make, on its return from the North Peak. A family-run business, with people who are genuine.

The bedding is clean and comfortable. The aunt cleans carefully and carefully. The environment is quiet. There is a parking lot. The price is not expensive. It is already very fragrant, not to mention the service staff. Enthusiastic and considerate, especially Gao Bing's service is very warm. I want to pick up and drop off guests as they want. The service attitude is very good. There is a car to pick up and drop off between the hotel, the station and the scenic spot. The only complaint is that the air conditioning heating effect is not good. It turns out that the filter is too dirty. I took it out and cleaned it myself. The heating effect immediately improved. I would like to give the boss a suggestion to clean the filter once a month, so that the cooling and heating effects are better and more energy-saving. The hotel is in a prime location, right at the foot of Mount Hua. You can see the scenery of Mount Hua from the room. The parking lot is spacious, suitable for novice parking and charging piles are available. It is within walking distance of the tourist center, which saves parking fees. You can also order a lot of takeout in the county, which is a good place for self-driving! The hotel public area is very large and there is a children's play area. The room is exquisitely decorated, the bedding is soft and comfortable, clean and tidy, and the details are superb. The bathroom is large and separated from wet and dry. After climbing the mountain, I also went to soak in the hot spring. The water temperature was just right and the water quality was clear and clean. Soaking in the hot spring, it was steaming hot, and the fatigue of climbing disappeared instantly. The overall check-in experience was very good, and the service was excellent. I especially praised the front desk lady, who was warm and thoughtful, checked in very quickly, and introduced the hotel facilities intimately. The check-in needs can also be met in the first time. I will choose to stay in this hotel next time I climb Mount Hua!

Great location right at the base of the mountain, next to the tourist centre. The views from the hotel are great with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy them. The staff were very accomodating. They accept foreigners at this hotel which can't be said for most places in this town.

Location only minutes away from the attractions, they have free transport service to and from the hotel to attractions and nearby restaurants which is very convenient. Room is clean. breakfast is ok.
