The room was clean and well-maintained, with a thoughtful layout and an expansive view. The facilities and amenities were comprehensive, modern, and convenient. All the staff, from the front desk personnel we met upon entering to the housekeeping attendant in the hallway, were incredibly friendly and attentive. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance to visit Xinjiang in the future.

On the last day of my trip, I chose this hotel primarily for its convenient access to the airport the next day, so I didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I was tired and didn't want to go out for food, and luckily, the hotel's 38th-floor lobby also houses a 'cloud restaurant' that served a delicious dinner. Plus, my room offered a fantastic view of Bogda Peak, which was an incredible bonus! The next morning, heading to the airport was a breeze – I just dropped my room card into the box downstairs and didn't have to go all the way back to the 38th floor to check out. Absolutely superb!

Satisfied, great location, convenient transportation, easy to travel! What touched me most about this stay at the Mandarin Hotel was the attentive service of Angel DEMI! From the booking stage, she took the initiative to contact to confirm the needs, helped to arrange the room in advance, and took care of even the details - knowing that I have a light sleep, she specially arranged a quiet high-floor room; during the stay, DEMI always paid attention to our needs, asked every day if we needed help, and recommended nearby food, she responded quickly and patiently solved. She also paid attention to our feelings when we checked out. The hotel is conveniently located, the room is clean and comfortable, and DEMI's warm and thoughtful service made this stay experience perfect! I will definitely find her next time, and I strongly recommend it to everyone!
This was my second stay at the Jiayuhe Hotel, and I absolutely love it. The unique interior design is grand and impressive. The staff are warm and attentive. The restaurant is quite spacious with a rich variety of options, and its proximity to the elevator is very convenient. The rooms are clean, and the shower water pressure is excellent. Plus, the view from the hotel window is lovely. The nearby Xinjiang specialty store offers reliable product quality, and there are many restaurants with diverse regional cuisines around to explore and try. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay.

As the most expensive hotel in Kashgar, the environment and facilities are first-class. However, the service and hygiene could be improved. The value for money is better than staying at the East Gate of the Old City, which is more convenient for watching the opening ceremony.

The homestay is located in the ancient city scenic area. After booking a room, there are professionals who provide one-on-one service for you, which is very considerate. After arriving at the store, the front desk lady received you very warmly and upgraded the room type for free. After checking in, there was also a thoughtful fruit plate. The room is very beautiful, with the exotic characteristics of Xinjiang. The homestay also has afternoon tea at the museum, which is very worth visiting. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Kashgar, I will definitely stay here

My journey westward led me to the Hilton Urumqi. Stepping through the doors, it felt as if I had entered a soothing oasis. After a long and dusty journey, what was most precious was encountering such genuine warmth.
A young lady at the front desk, named Xiaobao, greeted me with smiling eyes. Her words carried a unique clarity and sincerity, characteristic of the Northwest. She calmly and efficiently handled all the minor tasks, as if it wasn't just routine work, but rather like brushing dust off the clothes of a long-lost friend. Seeing my bewildered expression, she offered extra advice; when I inquired about local attractions and itineraries, she leaned over with a pen, meticulously outlining details. Such meticulousness went beyond her duties; it was more akin to an inherent kindness and sincerity.
The system at my previous hotel had failed to log out my secure session, leaving me stranded at the front desk, helpless, much like an ancient traveler who had lost their transit permit – anxious and embarrassed. Thankfully, Xiaobao came to the rescue, and with exceptional patience and professionalism, she helped me resolve the issue.
What was originally just a routine stopover became a memorable highlight of my journey, thanks to this meticulous attention to detail. Across a thousand miles of desert, with the gentle tinkling of camel bells, travelers have always sought nothing more than a lamp, a warm cup of tea, and a kind word. Yet here, nestled among the buildings at the foot of Bogda Peak, what I received far exceeded these simple desires.
The grandeur of the Northwest is hidden in its mountains and rivers; the warmth of Hilton is reflected on the faces of its people. My heartfelt thanks to Xiaobao; through her kindness, she truly showed me the meaning of 'a home away from home'. While other five-star hotels I've stayed at might match Hilton's facilities, it's the personal kindness and amiable nature of the staff that truly makes guests feel refreshed and at ease. It is precisely these golden pieces of the puzzle that assemble into the perfect experience at Hilton Urumqi.
No complaints about the room itself, and for this price including breakfast, it offers excellent value. However, the welcome fruit was not up to standard; they should either skip it entirely or provide something fresh. I asked for a replacement, and a fresh portion was indeed brought, but it was delivered by a cleaning lady. I think such requests should be handled by more professional staff. No sooner had the fruit issue been resolved than the bathroom door broke. The same kind cleaning lady thoughtfully tried to fix it, but I really think a hotel of this caliber should have dedicated, professional plumbers or maintenance staff for these kinds of repairs! Then, unbelievably, at 12:30 AM, another delivery of fruit arrived – *the exact same spoiled batch*! This really highlights a massive communication breakdown at the front desk and makes one wonder what the intention was. Despite all this, I want to specifically commend the cleaning lady for her kindness and effort. However, the hotel urgently needs to strengthen its management, improve service quality, specifically optimize its service system, and address issues promptly and effectively.
A truly wonderful stay that exceeded all expectations!
We stayed in different hotels in Tashkurgan County over three days, and only Snow Crown deserves a full five-star rating!
Excellent Location:
The hotel is perfectly situated. Turn right outside and you'll be right on the Panlong Ancient Trail, the Khunjerab Pass, and the various attractions of the Wakhan Corridor.
A key point is that there's a gas station right at the door. Travelers should definitely choose a hotel close to a gas station; there are no gas stations along the way to the attractions, so be sure to fill up before setting off.
Outside the window, the wetlands and snow-capped mountains offer breathtaking views. Even at night, when there aren't any sandstorms, you can see the stars.
Attentive Service:
Of the three hotels we stayed at, only Snow Crown had the concierge take the initiative to help with our luggage from the moment we got off the bus.
The front desk staff, both Tajik men and women, spoke fluent Chinese and asked if we were traveling for pleasure or business, and recommended itineraries.
They also helped us carry our luggage to the car upon check-out and gave us a gift. Room Cleanliness:
The room was larger than expected, very clean and tidy, with no odors. Besides the oxygen machine, it also had a humidifier, which is incredibly important for mainland travelers.
The room's toiletries were all disposable Chando products, not the kind that come in refillable bottles. They were genuine and smelled great. Two face masks were also provided with the room.
The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the water pressure was strong, making for a very comfortable shower.
Full Facilities:
There was a gym and swimming pool, but I didn't have time to use them.
The laundry room was especially noteworthy, with more than double the number of machines compared to other hotels. There was also a free billiards room and karaoke.
In the evening, you could choose between Chinese food or yak hotpot, both conveniently located right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was more varied and delicious than at other hotels.
This trip was made even better by choosing this hotel. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

We loved the Urumuqi Conrad! For our entire stay, the service was superb and attentive. We always felt very welcomed. The room was excellent and impeccably maintained. The executive lounge offered both afternoon tea and light dinner service. The staff was super nice and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered many made to order items.
The bell men and housekeeper all performed very well.
Overall, we highly recommend the Urumuqi Conrad.

LLizhixiaodianxiaFacilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped.
Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite.
Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha.
Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~
GGuest UserI have known of Kashgar for years because of its importance to the Silk Road. It was quickly planned trip and I chose the Radisson Blu because of good experirences that I have had with the brand in other locations. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted enthusiastically by Aria and the crew at the front desk. Aria even walked me pretty far to a restarant located in the same building later in my trip. My first night there was a sandstorm and the temperature in my room would not cool below 27C, the night crew was so helpful and ended moving me across the hall. Steven and Michael and Akhbar from management were always asking me how everything was and offering insights everytime that I walked through the lobby. The only criticism that I have is that the locker rooms in the pool area need some remodeling, there were some workers there the last couple days of my trip though. The pool itself was perfect and the attendants (Cindy, Katia, Meena, Winnie etc) were always cheerful and even would bring a bottle of water to my lounge while I was in the pool. Whenever I will return to Kashgar, I will stay here as I will urge friends of mine to stay as well.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a very convenient location in the city center, directly opposite the iconic Hongshan Park. It's also just about three stops away from the Grand Bazaar and the museum. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of small eateries and shops.
Our room was spacious and bright, featuring comfortable bedding and a bathtub perfect for a relaxing hot soak, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
The service was excellent. Manager Luo at the front desk was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, having already prepared our room and key card in advance. We even received a thoughtful welcome gift upon check-in, which tasted delicious!
The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with distinct local characteristics. There's a charming long corridor, and they even offer traditional folk costumes for guests to take photos in. The hotel also provides its own dedicated and very convenient parking lot. Overall, the facilities are excellent.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi.
LL. AiliI’m so glad I picked the Nanjiang Global for my stay in Kashgar. It exceeded my expectations, and my stay was really pleasant. After long days exploring, it always felt good to come home to my room. And given the summer heat, I loved that there was ice cold lemon water always waiting for me in the lobby. The check-in service was great and my room was upgraded. The suites are really comfortable, with amenities by Shanghai Tang. I also saw the standard double rooms, and they were spacious and nice too. The front desk manager who goes by the name Hunter was excellent and so helpful, as were others staff members. Hunter’s English is great and he answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Ask him to write down the hotel’s name in Uyghur for you if you’ll be taking taxis. It’ll be a big help. The hotel is very clean, and breakfast was much more than basic. I hope I have the chance to visit Kashgar again, and I’d be happy to return to this hotel.
GGuest UserAfter dinner, I took a taxi back and accidentally saw some people in uniforms welcoming me at the door. I looked carefully and found that it was the designated reception point. The whole building feels like a comprehensive mall, and accommodation is only part of it. There is a sales point for Nanda Dairy on the first floor, which is open from 8 am to 10 pm, which is very convenient for guests. There is a huge wall of luggage lockers on the first floor, which is shocking. Unfortunately, I felt that they were not staffed enough at the front desk several times, and the waiting time was relatively long, but it was not easy to maintain a good service attitude. To be fair, the hotel hardware and supplies are really good. The decoration is a more old-fashioned hotel, with wooden cabinets, a little smell, and the facilities may not be particularly new, but the overall feeling is OK. The shampoo and shower gel are not a very expensive brand, but they are comfortable to use. The shower gel seems to be from pmpm, and the hair dryer is also a new basic model. The slippers are particularly thick and of good quality, surpassing many high-priced hotels. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kashgar. I stayed in an expensive hotel next to the ancient city for one night and felt that I didn’t win many points except for the geographical location.
GGuest UserAlthough it's an established hotel, it has a great location, very close to the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of nearby restaurants. The front desk lady, Ms. Aiman, is beautiful and friendly! 🌹I love her so much! 🌹She upgraded me to a junior suite, which was quiet, safe, and comfortable. It was amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The housekeeper was a senior employee and a beautiful young woman, equally attentive and enthusiastic. This made my stay feel safe and secure during this trip, and it was a very pleasant stay! The hotel has a very high occupancy rate, and it would be even better if the breakfast menu featured more Xinjiang specialties. Overall, it's very good! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
YYouyizainidechengStayed in No. 2 courtyard for two nights! It is the best butler service of the hotel and homestay I have ever stayed in! The homestay is a full 24-hour butler service. Xiaomu and Xiao Ai are two young Uighur butlers who are considerate and attentive! Accompanying the ancient city to help with the bag and things, and bring bottled water when you go out! After returning, I prepared fruit again! My bag was dirty when I passed the ancient city security check. The two housekeepers used a toothbrush to clean it a little bit and dry it with a hair dryer, neatly placed on the couch! Especially touched me!
The ancient city is a day to visit, and the two housekeepers also accompany you for a day. Many check-in points have their guides, which is really a lot of detours!
The yard is designed with exquisite plants and in place, as well as camel bells, earthworms, tile walls and other Xinjiang elements are unique and exotic! The floor of the room is carefully designed, the bedding is so comfortable and there is a cervical pillow, you can see the efforts and professional level of the whole team!
Turn back to this peaceful and beautiful courtyard in the hustle and bustle of the ancient city and the streets of the shops! There are endless juices and beer in the refrigerator, as well as exquisite lo-flavored platters, fruits and pastries are also endless every day! Breakfast has Chinese and Xinjiang style, Xinjiang style, some hard may be the taste of locals. The weather in Kashgar is cold at night, and the housekeeper will prepare a heater and shawl for you. It is too comfortable to sit on the earthen raft in the yard and drink!
I can live in such a homestay and meet such a housekeeper, and I have not failed far away.
The journey will also leave a good memory forever!
Next time I come to Kashgar, I have to experience other yards! This time I went to No. 7 for afternoon tea. I couldn't go to No. 9 restaurant for dinner. I couldn't continue to live in No. 1 courtyard, so I have to come to Kashgar again! Come to Silk Road again! Because Silk Road has an appointment 🧚♀️
GGuest UserI feel like I underpaid them, they literally spoiled me starting from early check-in, complimentary mini bar I thought I had to pay for the soft drinks but it turned out they were all free. In the evening the housekeeping came to the room and gave me free hot milk everything inside the room worked and very comfortable , receptionists were very helpful although they couldn’t speak English but they tried the best to help with the taxis. Free luggage service also complimentary laundry self service. I just could not think that what I paid was even covered half of what I received from them. The gym was fully equipped and very large.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me. It is the real value for money for sure
