This is my first time writing such a detailed review, and I just have to give this place a shout-out, even though my photos are pretty mediocre.
I was in Altay for a business trip, and I wasn't thrilled with the hotel my partner booked. So I switched to this one, and I definitely made the right choice.
I absolutely loved the hotel's vibe. It seemed like a lot of ski enthusiasts were staying here. It's quite new, and the layout is exactly to my liking.
The breakfast was truly excellent. They had rice noodles, which I, a 'southern big potato,' love, and also regular noodles. The laundry room wasn't crowded, and there was a lovely lady in the lobby – she was so beautiful! It seems attractive people gravitate towards attractive hotels. They also have their own coffee bar, and the in-room capsule coffee machine was my absolute favorite.
The location is super convenient, right on the main street in the city center, with snowy landscapes on both sides. There are various restaurants right outside the main entrance.
The room was spacious enough to fit most ski equipment. It's clear they really understand the ski market. They also offer airport pickup, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely bring my family here next time, and I want to stay in a duplex!

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, just a 15-minute drive away, with ample parking. It has a 24-hour self-service laundry room and a gym. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the room was clean and tidy. Customer service, especially from Xiao Yu, was excellent; they proactively contacted me to arrange my room. My flight was delayed, and the hotel even helped me with a late check-out. The driver for the airport transfer also arrived very quickly. All the services were convenient and seamless. I was very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommend!

My stay at the R&F Wanda Vista Hotel in Urumqi was truly exceptional! The Western-style decor immediately caught my eye upon entering the lobby. The Tianshan tapestries and snow lotus lanterns were stunning, instantly elevating the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me immediately and making me feel incredibly attentive. I have to praise Sara, the hotel's housekeeper. After adding her on WeChat, she quickly addressed any requests I had. She was incredibly thoughtful! She also thoughtfully took care of any issues I had with my reservation. The room I was given was the perfect size, spotlessly clean, and odorless. It was a comfortable stay, and I had a great rest. Upon check-out, they even gave the children a small gift. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Urumqi!
Our last hotel on this Northern Xinjiang trip was truly satisfying. I looked it up and found out it's actually managed by a tourism company from Jiangsu, which explains why the management and facilities are a cut above the rest.
**Facilities:** The exterior looks understated, but the interior feels very comfortable. The room was spacious, the decor materials were high-quality, it had a good design aesthetic, and was well-maintained.
**Hygiene:** Clean and tidy.
**Environment:** It's across from Altay Sports Park, and our 6th-floor room had a great view of the snow-capped mountains.
**Service:** Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and they even arranged complimentary airport transfer for the next day.
**Breakfast:** There was a good variety of options, and the quality was quite good too.
Overall, it was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at during this Northern Xinjiang journey.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and the place was clean and tidy. Parking was super convenient, and as a member, they even upgraded my room for free! The facilities were complete, and the breakfast food was delicious with a good variety. It's right by the ancient city, and they even send daily discount coupons via WeChat. Great value for money, I was very satisfied overall 😊

The most unforgettable experience of my trip to Kashgar was the Hanging Gardens B&B. The unique round bed, the beautiful Hanging Gardens Woodcarving Museum, and the exquisite architecture all left a lasting impression. Even more unforgettable was the warm, attentive, and dedicated service provided by the two handsome waiters, Aikebaier and Yimamu! Under the guidance of the manager, they made us feel right at home. I'll definitely be back next time to experience the beautiful Hanging Gardens and its refreshing Western charm.

Although the hotel isn't brand new, its management is exceptionally well-organized, meticulous, and thoughtful. The front desk staff patiently showed us several room types, helped us pick the most suitable one, and even gave us an upgrade. As we were there for our first marathon, we inquired if early breakfast would be available on race day. Upon learning this, the lobby manager promptly arranged for breakfast to be served for all race participants staying at the hotel, which was incredibly efficient. Room service was also highly efficient and incredibly prompt. Highly recommended!
I initially booked another hotel, but when I arrived, it was far from what I expected, and there was nowhere to park. Luckily, I passed by this resplendent hotel, glittering with lights, so I canceled the other booking and switched to this one. The price was the same, which surprised me as I thought it would be expensive, but it was actually quite good. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of parking, which was very convenient. The hotel was warm, and while the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was still decent.
A truly wonderful stay that exceeded all expectations!
We stayed in different hotels in Tashkurgan County over three days, and only Snow Crown deserves a full five-star rating!
Excellent Location:
The hotel is perfectly situated. Turn right outside and you'll be right on the Panlong Ancient Trail, the Khunjerab Pass, and the various attractions of the Wakhan Corridor.
A key point is that there's a gas station right at the door. Travelers should definitely choose a hotel close to a gas station; there are no gas stations along the way to the attractions, so be sure to fill up before setting off.
Outside the window, the wetlands and snow-capped mountains offer breathtaking views. Even at night, when there aren't any sandstorms, you can see the stars.
Attentive Service:
Of the three hotels we stayed at, only Snow Crown had the concierge take the initiative to help with our luggage from the moment we got off the bus.
The front desk staff, both Tajik men and women, spoke fluent Chinese and asked if we were traveling for pleasure or business, and recommended itineraries.
They also helped us carry our luggage to the car upon check-out and gave us a gift. Room Cleanliness:
The room was larger than expected, very clean and tidy, with no odors. Besides the oxygen machine, it also had a humidifier, which is incredibly important for mainland travelers.
The room's toiletries were all disposable Chando products, not the kind that come in refillable bottles. They were genuine and smelled great. Two face masks were also provided with the room.
The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the water pressure was strong, making for a very comfortable shower.
Full Facilities:
There was a gym and swimming pool, but I didn't have time to use them.
The laundry room was especially noteworthy, with more than double the number of machines compared to other hotels. There was also a free billiards room and karaoke.
In the evening, you could choose between Chinese food or yak hotpot, both conveniently located right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was more varied and delicious than at other hotels.
This trip was made even better by choosing this hotel. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Environment: I booked this hotel specifically for the snow mountain view, and during the off-season, the Conrad Urumqi offers excellent value for money! Unfortunately, the weather on the day I stayed wasn't great, with poor visibility, so the snow mountains weren't very clear. The hotel had a fantastic festive atmosphere before Christmas, with beautiful Christmas trees and decorations.
Facilities: I didn't visit the gym but did use the pool. The water temperature, environment, and everything else felt very comfortable. However, some people were taking photos (of people in the pool, not just the surroundings), and the staff didn't intervene. The room facilities were impeccable in all aspects; the executive room was spacious enough, and the layout was well-designed.
Service: The staff were very enthusiastic. The handsome Uyghur guys and beautiful ladies were truly a sight to behold, unique in all of China. The front desk lady also proactively shared information about local delicacies and communicated promptly. It would have been even better if they had noticed my birthday more promptly! When checking out, the bellboy, Allen, kindly helped me with my luggage and loaded it into the car. Many thanks.
Additionally, the breakfast at Conrad is definitely a bonus! There's an incredibly wide variety: ethnic dishes, Chinese, Western – everything you could wish for! And the taste is absolutely fantastic! The Conrad's milk tea is hands down the richest I've had in Xinjiang during my more than a week-long stay! The baked samsas were so delicious I devoured two; and the Baursak were much thinner and crispier than those I've had elsewhere, and served warm! There was also 'Ganzi Rou' (pot meat); my portion had lamb ribs, which were super tender and incredibly tasty. And breakfast even included steak! Who eats steak for breakfast, you might ask, but honestly, it was really good! I simply didn't have space for the wontons and beef noodles, nor for the dazzling array of Western breakfast options. This is definitely a hotel breakfast I'll miss, and it's perfect for experiencing Xinjiang flavors alone (since outside portions are usually too large, here you can try a bit of everything, and it's all delicious). You absolutely must try breakfast if you stay at the Conrad! The only minor imperfection might be the service: firstly, no one greeted me or led me to a table when I entered, nor did anyone ask what I wanted to drink; it was mostly self-service. Later, I noticed that not everyone was unattended; some guests were seated. It wasn't busy when I went, so I'm not sure what the situation was. Secondly, I wanted a soft-boiled egg, and the chef told me to come back in two minutes, but it wasn't soft-boiled at all, just a regular hard-boiled egg. Lastly, there was a mix-up with orders; I'm not sure how the staff remembered who ordered what, as I was served 'Ganzi Rou' twice, and three plates of steak were brought to me at one point 😅 Meanwhile, the table next to me had been waiting ages for their steak and eventually left impatient… These are some nitpicky details, but they don't overshadow the overall excellent experience, as the food itself was truly faultless.
Location: There's a large shopping mall right next door, making shopping very convenient. If you walk through the mall, you'll reach the museum, so it's very convenient to stay here if you want to visit the museum. The staff on the ground floor are also very helpful with directions, telling you the quickest way to get around.

LLizhixiaodianxiaFacilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped.
Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite.
Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha.
Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~
GGuest UserRadisson never disappoints! Our stay was fabulous, stylish and we were well taken care of. Many thanks to Jason who through his English language command, Yes we can Radisson attitude attended to our needs with efficiency and promptitude!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a very convenient location in the city center, directly opposite the iconic Hongshan Park. It's also just about three stops away from the Grand Bazaar and the museum. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of small eateries and shops.
Our room was spacious and bright, featuring comfortable bedding and a bathtub perfect for a relaxing hot soak, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
The service was excellent. Manager Luo at the front desk was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, having already prepared our room and key card in advance. We even received a thoughtful welcome gift upon check-in, which tasted delicious!
The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with distinct local characteristics. There's a charming long corridor, and they even offer traditional folk costumes for guests to take photos in. The hotel also provides its own dedicated and very convenient parking lot. Overall, the facilities are excellent.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi.
NNingning mumThe room is big enough, the living room has plenty of room for an extra bed, and the view from the upper floors is good. The elevators are well arranged, and there is no long waiting time on the upper floors. The overall service is good, and robots deliver takeaways when ordered. The Chinese restaurant is OK, especially the green leafy vegetables are better than those fried in other restaurants. When checking out, I asked for a half-hour extension, which was readily agreed.
GGuest UserAfter dinner, I took a taxi back and accidentally saw some people in uniforms welcoming me at the door. I looked carefully and found that it was the designated reception point. The whole building feels like a comprehensive mall, and accommodation is only part of it. There is a sales point for Nanda Dairy on the first floor, which is open from 8 am to 10 pm, which is very convenient for guests. There is a huge wall of luggage lockers on the first floor, which is shocking. Unfortunately, I felt that they were not staffed enough at the front desk several times, and the waiting time was relatively long, but it was not easy to maintain a good service attitude. To be fair, the hotel hardware and supplies are really good. The decoration is a more old-fashioned hotel, with wooden cabinets, a little smell, and the facilities may not be particularly new, but the overall feeling is OK. The shampoo and shower gel are not a very expensive brand, but they are comfortable to use. The shower gel seems to be from pmpm, and the hair dryer is also a new basic model. The slippers are particularly thick and of good quality, surpassing many high-priced hotels. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kashgar. I stayed in an expensive hotel next to the ancient city for one night and felt that I didn’t win many points except for the geographical location.
GGuest UserAlthough it's an established hotel, it has a great location, very close to the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of nearby restaurants. The front desk lady, Ms. Aiman, is beautiful and friendly! 🌹I love her so much! 🌹She upgraded me to a junior suite, which was quiet, safe, and comfortable. It was amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The housekeeper was a senior employee and a beautiful young woman, equally attentive and enthusiastic. This made my stay feel safe and secure during this trip, and it was a very pleasant stay! The hotel has a very high occupancy rate, and it would be even better if the breakfast menu featured more Xinjiang specialties. Overall, it's very good! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GGuest UserThis was my first time skiing in Hemu, and I chose to stay at the Hilton Hemu, which is very close to the West Ski Resort and offers round-trip shuttle services to the slopes. The brunch options were plentiful, and the food met expectations. Overall, it was a good experience. However, I did encounter a few issues:
1. The bathroom in our room always had a slight odor from the day we checked in until we left. I'm not sure if this is the case for all rooms.
2. The water pressure from the showerhead was very low; I'd suggest replacing it.
3. On the evening of our fifth day, the shower started leaking while we were using it, indicating a blockage in the drain, likely from hair or debris. I wonder if this is only cleaned upon check-out?
4. After requesting ice buckets, no one came to collect them the next day, so we ended up with more and more ice buckets in the room.
5. On our last night, I called the front desk at around 5 PM to request an ice bucket, but it never arrived. I called again at 6:20 PM, and the front desk agent said she would follow up. Still, it hadn't arrived by 7:30 PM. After going to dinner, I spoke with the manager. Apparently, the front desk only contacted the restaurant department once at 6:20 PM regarding the ice bucket, having missed my initial call at 5 PM. The restaurant received the 6:20 PM call, but according to the manager, they were busy and overlooked it. I understand that the front desk might have been busy with other guests checking in or handling more urgent matters, and I also understand that restaurants can be hectic during meal times. However, for a five-star hotel, such a poor experience should be avoided. I suggest that your company consider implementing a memo system. For instance, the front desk could note down guest service requests and attend to them after handling more immediate tasks. The same applies to the restaurant; they could record requests to avoid oversight and fulfill them when things are less busy. If there's a significant delay, they should call back to inform the guest. The ice buckets in the room should be collected daily, which seems to be a communication issue between the restaurant and housekeeping staff. I hope the hotel can improve its service and strive for excellence, rather than just offering apologies after the fact. Only by continuously enhancing the guest experience will customers choose to return to this hotel again.
GGuest UserFrom the moment we booked, we felt the butler's attentiveness, with a private car providing transportation. The courtyard we stayed in perfectly matched all our expectations of southern Xinjiang's charm—rustic yet exquisite. Our two couples shared a room, offering both privacy and enough space for us to enjoy tea and conversation. Fresh fruit and a goodnight stew were provided daily. The real surprises came from the butlers, Semi and Xiaoru. Special praise goes to Semi and Xiaoru for their unconventional service; they treated us like old friends. Semi, with his sunny smile and extensive local knowledge, guided us away from the tourist crowds, leading us into hidden gems known only to locals. Xiaoru, a typical Uyghur beauty, with her generous friendliness, planned our route, recommended restaurants, and even helped us buy tickets for the shows we wanted to see at a cheaper price than online. They also helped us apply for border permits for our upcoming trip to Tashkurgan… and many more. What touched us most was that, due to time constraints, we hadn't had time to pick up the pre-ordered baked buns—we'd even forgotten about them! (The tomato and chili buns were truly delicious!) When we returned, we found they had already retrieved them for us. This ”partner-like” service made my trip to Kashgar incredibly warm and welcoming. So, if anyone sees this review, don't hesitate, you won't regret choosing this one. There are just so many things to praise, you can discover them for yourself, I won't go into too much detail 👍 (Attached is a group photo, best wishes!)
